More options have been added to the Orcs, but I have to ask myself, other then the long hair, is that what people even wanted for hair? I’ve only seen players use the balding hairs aside from the long hair with the braids ironically. I know this is Alpha still but hopefully somebody who works in the art department will see this and try and work on more options. As of now the Earrings and tusks look great, but that hair for males is just so lacking. There’s plenty of examples Blizzard has put into their Orcs be it the Shadowlands Box Art cover or the Cinematic videos they’ve released in the past, not to mention Saurfang’s model himself. What do you all think about these newer additions found for Orcs and what would you care to see?

I honestly think the hairstyles for Orcs are extremely lacking. It’s either lame frankenstein meme hair, various levels of balding, and maybe like one or two “good” long hairstyles. Why’s it so hard for them to make good, nice, full, luscious hair for orc lads?

Yeah, I just… scrolled past the hairstyles, honestly. To put it candidly, I think they’re fugly. 
But the rest of the changes look good!
I had hoped for something more along the lines of this, including the beard options from the BFA cover art. Another thing I was hoping to see, as they add it to so many promotional art for Orcs as well as the newer updated Orc child model you could get as a pet back at the end of Legion or Start of BFA, EYE BROWS. Orcs lack this option, and double on that, eyebrow piercings haven’t been found yet.
Besides Kargath and Grom, who has hair like that? It’s not the racial fantasy, at least for Blizzard.

Some Ideas I can come up with just off the top of my head.
Top Knot.
Shaved Sides.
Flat Mowhawk.
Dread Locks.
Stubble on the head, like how they have as a beard option but for their head.
Messy Short Hair.
Cornrows
Saurfang model’s hair.
some Braided Long hair like the new dwarf options.

I like the Gul’dan style beard!
God why can’t they just make ONE hairstyle that’s just short and mostly like… normal. I get that they want to play up the whole outmoded metalhead fantasy thing but I would have loved to have my orcs have the option of not looking like either Nathan Explosion (which to be fair is fine just not for me) or… like they were going bald very strangely.
And also, why not eyebrows? Can eyebrows just be a thing?

Personally the things I’d want to see are:

Full beards, not neckbeards

An abundance of full hairline options

Eyebrows, as others have said

Dragonmaw skins. the NPCs have cool glowing yellow eyes and I want them I guess

Handsome faces. Look, maybe this is a weird thing to want from orcs. But if I want a “strong and brooding durotan-from-the-movies hunk”, I should have the option for something like that. They don’t all need to be snarls mcwrinkledface

Also lets just agree that nobody likes hunched orcs very much and make the majority of NPCs stand up straight. If they’re meant to be old men or peons fine, leave them as is, but the fact that only players and Saur/Thrall stand up straight is sorta weird.

There are some random NPCs that do stand up, however, you’re not wrong though more would be nicer. Tattoos or more body paint options would be nice, the Black Rock Orcs from the Black Rock Mountain like Eitrigg would be nice to have as an option. There’s much more that needs to be done and that I would love to see. I know it’s only Alpha but I feel like the Orcs are going to get shafted in options. It’s why I wanted to make this forum to at the very least grab somebody on the art teams attention just enough for them to get some more inspiration.
Elves have been getting the most of the attention even to the point of Bracelets, but Orcs get more balding hair, A Mag’har hair style mixed with the Mohawk and one of the Nightelf hair styles. Earings and Tusks are a good addition and can be expanded on more, but I really hope Blizzard doesn’t just ignore the other races for Elves.

Very nice so far, I’m VERY excited at whatever else gets uncovered so we must wait as datamining slowly gets chiseled away. I will say, I’d like to see these upright and…the balding option makes me a little sad. Not exactly what I’d expect for orcish style, I feel an orc at this point would just shave his head completely. Or tie back or braid it in a certain way. But! I await still.
We still have other things to wait for with orcs…since I feel the ear options would be more than just bigger ear lobe lol
It has boggled my mind for years that the race Metzen was clearly all about, always seemed to be one of the most lacking in the art department. You’re the boss man, go tell your art team to square their sh… up.
The receding hairlines and inability to give them normal wrists always seemed problematic.
I wish this game had sliders so I could have a scrawny orc.
