it was expected due to CNY mounts since the dog lik 3 years ago. problem with this one imo is it’s tied behind a 6 month sub. now that is some petty stuff right their.
makes me believe they are losing so many subs that they had to tie it to a sub based instead of opting it as $25 like the first 2 CNY mounts. great if you already pay for 6month subs but me i don’t it’s the end of the expac i see myself playing for maybe 4 months max before taking a break until shadowlands/pre expac content.
idk if they will run it as $25 mount in the future like what they did with the ghost ship i believe but if not then not gonna get it.

This isn’t like the Dreadwake promotion where you MUST have a sub and the mount will be available later.
I mean, you already have 50 character slots, and they can all be on one realm now. The MMOs that have pay to unlock slots usually start at around 4.

I have stated multiple times how to get the store mounts without paying a dime. Honestly at this point, with as long as you’ve been able to get the store mounts using your ingame gold, this sort of response is just deceptive.
This is a subscription based game that comes out with new expansions every 2 years that cost money .
This game has always been about then making money
An amount of gold (Doubled cause these mounts are 25 Bucks) that is more subject to change depending on the supply and demand and stock of imaginary WoW Tokens that somebody needs to buy so you can buy the mount with gold and claim to get it for free, instead of actually working for it ingame and getting it only though ingame or sold for a static amount of gold and no need for anybody to buy anything to allow you to get it at all. Sold.

As for the 6 month sub thing, If you need to pay a dime to get something for free, then it’s not free.
I don’t mind these mounts at all when they come with the reduced 6 month sub price. I know I’m going to be subbed for the next 6 month anyways, so this is just a free mount and discount on my sub.
i’m saving money and getting a free mount. what’s there to complaint about?
Step 1) Grind Gold
Step 2) Buy 2 WoW Tokens with gold earned grinding ingame.
Step 3) Convert Tokens to battlenet balance.
Step 4) Buy mount
See? NOT A DIME from you. You didn’t have to pay for a subscription, you didn’t have to buy it from the store with your irl monies. Easy

While I don’t really like the idea of store mounts, I’m okay with the rat because it’s coming with a reduced sub price and also… there were a lot of unique mounts this patch. Unlike 8.1 and 8.2.
D’aaww! I never realized how playful and sweet they could be. Now i want one. 
nice i totally forgot to even check the cash shop then still good then. since i did plan to buy it in the future since i dont have the ratstallion mount and i really wanted a rat mount
My local gas station had a promo of a free car wash with a fill up. I would love to see these people trying to argue that the car wash isn’t free since you have to buy gas.
That’s too bad that I had to kill one a few weeks ago. I don’t even like having to finish off the wild ones, instead of entertaining the ability to domesticate one.
If it’s truly free, why is it a store mount? why can’t it be a regular mount you earn ingame? 
If they are regular mounts earned ingame they should have less then 4 steps and none of them including anything with Store mounts.

Don’t worry, Microtransactions are “free”, they are “free” to grind instead of buy, you don’t have to buy, you just have to grind a whole bunch of time and such to get items for “free.”
