New mount - Squeakers... Really?

You mean, they plan these contracts in advance to coincide with content droughts…? 'Cause Blizzard knew quite a while ago that 8.3 would be the last major patch and content addition in BfA.

You’re basically fueling my point.

Nah bro, it only took them a single hour to draft, illustrate, rig, render and code that mouse and maybe 10mins to come up with a marketing strategy to promote it. The hardest part was filming it, mice do t ait still long, and they dont eat that much cheese and refused to cooperate.

It’s actually better than free. For those of us with no plans to unsub, the six month package saves us money. On top of that savings we get a mount. Sweet deal. Don’t want to commit to six months, don’t. Don’t want the mount, don’t either sub for six months or buy it outright.

This isn’t a complicated issue.

If you don’t ever unsubscribe even during times of a content drought where there’s few reasons to log in, then it is free. But not everyone is like that. The 6 month contract is to try and ensure as many players stay subscribed as possible.

Just because you feel you’re getting your money’s worth with your monthly sub doesn’t mean everyone else does, and luckily for me a mount doesn’t influence me. But it does for other people.

IKR? It’s just beyond comprehension that a business would have some sort of incentive for purchase. I mean, this coupon for a pizza from the local store is a sure sign they’re going under, right?

No, I’m really not.

This whole ‘Oh they’re just putting this out because of sub losses and content droughts’ conspiracy theory has been used every single time Blizzard has created a 6 month mount promotion starting with the Dreadwake mount for the Pirate Day promotion.

Every single time without fail, someone like you uses this line. It was debunked by Ythisens shortly after the Dreadwake promotion went live, but folks still post it. Sadly, posting something multiple times doesn’t make it true.

Attitudes like this is why companies get away with ruining games.

Stop blaming activision. Blizzard’s faults are their own.

I have to admit… it’s pretty darn cute.

Deducement: Male human players befuddle me.

Statement: There can never bee too many mounts.

Data Assessment: No heroic kills, and only rival. You are in no position to dictate others on what things they should or should not enjoy and you will never.

What attitude? Being happy and greatful? Dude, you are messed up in the head. I really feel bad for you.

Never feel bad for “Shut up Meg” Orcs. They did it to themselves. Might be hereditary.

But you can earn the store mounts with ingame gold. I really don’t understand this complaint.

That doesn’t mean its free. It’s INCLUDED with a 6 month subscription.

You dont’ go to the store, get a candy bar out of the buy one get one free and walk out. You have to BUY something to get something.

Not free, included.

Query: How has adding a single optional purchase that provides no tactical advantage ruining the game?

Semantics.

Exactly, it’s why there is such a term called Semantics.

You should understand it.

The funniest thing is that you think there have been only 3 and that you think that number is excessive. There’s been 5 mounts. And we likely won’t see shadowlands until November. We’ll see a 6th store mount no doubt.

Reason being: max leveling out of cloak will last until mid-September. Give an extra month (minimum) of downtime for people to catchup before pre-patch. 4-6 weeks of pre-patch and then expansion launch.

Boom mid-November already. Latest Early December for shadowlands.

you’re picking apart the meaning of a word to draw a different conclusion but it all means the same thing.

Does that help ya.
