And yet my statement still wasn’t wrong.
But I’m getting bored with this constant back and forth. I swear, if I have to make another post arguing with the stunty again I’m going to tear my own beard out. Have a nice day knife-ears.

OMFG (and I never write OMFG) I just got Squeakers and I had no idea it was a flying mount! I hit my space bar to see what emote it would do, and then these cute little magical wings popped out! I almost crapped my pants!
Well that was weird.
shakes head
Not our fault you seem to be unable to distinguish between one month of game time and a subscription. But whatever. Continue to be insulting. I’m done.
Nah, what he meant is you had to fork over the green to get the mount. You couldn’t buy WOW tokens with gold, THEN get the mount.
Color me confused but that’s out of the blue, is this what your guys were talking about?
I’m not going to get involved into that, cause my opinion is pretty much the same as this one as well for other sub promotion mounts / store mounts: I much rather this actually ingame instead. Another awesome mount to pass.
Such a shame. It’s not like they’ve released 50 or so in-game obtainable mounts this expac or anything.
Actually… I’m not done. Because something just dawned on me.
You are wrong.
One month of game time is NOT the same as a subscription.
First off, that’s like saying you buy a magazine off the shelf and you have a subscription to it. You don’t.
Secondly, you might want to look at the shop. Subscriptions is its own category, with the options for one month, three months or six months. Those subs automatically charge you either once a month, once every three months, or once every six months for a subscription. One month of game time is listed separately under "Game Services."
They’re entirely different.
NOW I’m done.
But its sooooooooooo CUUUUUUUUTEEEEEEEEE! It’s cuter than feeding Vulpera Oysters and watching them play with worgens! It’s cuter than badly placed art, I mean tentacles (did I spell that right?) and finger painted eyeballs all over panderia! My trolls are now the super gender neutral epitome of sexy stud men all over Azeroth! That’s right, I have given up my sewer-found nasty looking, bad azz, had to grind for it, Ratztallion (<—Blizz thinks one of their mount names is a bad word. LOL) to ride on a fuzzy white mouse with green wings! (really art dept? Green wings? What’s with all the Chinese art on EVERYTHING?) Combined with my mageweave pink shirt, I am THE COOL, THE HE MAN, THE BI GUY who games from his prepper-like man cave, (that’s right, NOT MOM’s BASEMENT because I have grey at the temples and salt n pepper everywhere else!) No neck beard here, I wear ladies Black Opppium (<—Bliz thinks this is a bad word. LOL) perfume and you don’t even notice, because this mouse has made me now have THAT sort of man appeal. Look at the hair on MY CHEST, no manscaping here, I am ALL testosterone and my natural is willllld! *rides off into the sunset on my mouse farting green glitter and rainbows with chest hair blowing into my face singing the Night begins to shine! I LUV YOU BLIZZZZZZ! xoxoxox
It doesn’t matter to anyone but the person buying it and I guess the handful of people that care what other people spend their money on.
Don’t be a fool. No one force you to buy
Your right it’s not free. Technically it’s cheaper then paying for 6 months separately plus you get a mount.
Honestly I’m more pissed about how bad 8.3 is than a store mount, which isn’t even as bad as ESO and their store mounts.
Pretty happy saved some money and got a cute mount. Between Classic and Retail I will get value out of it.
You’re saving money, yes, but you’re WASTING TIME. Congratulations: you are now in a content drought.
And you determine that other players are wasting their time in a content drought…how? Because YOU have nothing to do? You just assume others don’t?
I won’t touch 8.3 because the Pathfinder Rep Grind burnt me out. I have plenty of things to do to occupy my time. Right now, I am going back to Legion to get my Class Mounts, and without the timegate, I am having a good time.
Sorry you feel you are wasting your time. Don’t assume others are.
So many still left - shame next one is Ox. That one should still be interesting!
Imagine being incensed by vanity items in a video game. I mean sit back for a few minutes and really think about it.
What others? The Classic guys? Those who are permanently QQed?
I’m not saying there’s nothing to do. I’m saying there’s NOT ENOUGH to do. Everyone who read up knew weeks and weeks in advance this was going to be a “low budget” patch. I’m just now giving the skinny on those who didn’t quite do enough research. I apologize this all came down of a sudden.
It doesn’t matter to anyone but the person buying it and I guess the handful of people that care what other people spend their money on.
So …gamers who actually care about looking cool and who cares about the video game industry and where it’s headed with the microtransactions?
Imagine being incensed by vanity items in a video game. I mean sit back for a few minutes and really think about it.
Well i have given it much thought, and Cosmetics do matter, a lot of gamers care about cosmetics and they care about the video game industry, and i think it’s safe to say, we really don’t want any more microtransactions in our gaming. If cosmetics, vanity items or art doesn’t matter, then why should we care about the Art Team making the coolest mogs ever for our items? Why should we care about new character customizations? or the new pretty looking zones or cinematics, Heck, why care about what video games look like at all if this is the attitude? I’m sure Overwatch will sell well if looks like Call of Duty.
If anybody on this thread has the time, i would highly recommend you watch Jim Sterling’s video “it’s just cosmetic” if you don’t think art, vanity items, and other such doesn’t matter. Same goes to the ones who do care about that kind of stuff. And check out " The Addictive Cost Of Predatory Videogame Monetization" by him as well.
No. I said people who are concerned with what other people spend their money on. You don’t have to buy this mount. You have tons of mount options you don’t have to buy paying your monthly subscription. Get back to me when Blizzard starts selling items you get from mythic raids or character abilities.
