New moon half moon full moon

Boomies are one of the tankiest classes there is? Their defensive kit is fine lmao. By this logic enhance shamans should go back to pre nerf state because we are always the target and our defensives are close to worst in game.

If boomy wasn’t hard af to kill it wouldn’t be a problem even with it’s insanely overtuned damage.

Idk, having to choose between taking a tactical nuke to the chin or being Helen Hunt’s father in the movie Twister sort of puts you in a desperate predicament. It simply doesn’t feel good to kick Boomkins currently. You’re just having to decide between the lesser of two evils at that given point.

Well, that’s the sentiment that I see on the forums
 esp from Healers.
My multi 2.4kxp lock friend also got frustrated with shuffle for this reason.
I’d say though it definitely happens this expansion more often than I’d prefer, 100%.
My point was that an actual one-shot you can’t counter isn’t very skillful. If you press a button and it crit-deleted a player, I don’t see how that’s very fun for anyone involved, esp in Solo.

Edit: In many cases it def boils down more to skill discrepancies, which Solo exacerbates. I don’t think anyone can dispute that, still IMO burst is a bit overtuned. How to solve it? Idk

You say this a lot and I just find it funny because warlock is a class where we have absolutely no idea if the guy is good or not based on this achievement

I don’t really see it happening, though, outside of like windwalker/enh juiced by an aug which is mostly just kind of a damage foresight or awareness issue. A lot of games kind of drag on if people are trading even somewhat well.

Yeah, again you are right that MOST times it comes down to a cooldown trickle and IS a skill-win, but if you get lucky and crit 300k then you close the game unfairly.

As for my lock friend, he was 2.4k in SL so I’d say he’s pretty decent, much better than me EXP wise in arena anyways
 the point being these forums are still overplaying the freereign casters are supposedly having atm. I’m planning on finally queueing my boomy this week, let’s see what happens :slight_smile:

lol I actually switched to full moon. I’m almost temped to queue tonight / this weekend,
see how it goes. I wasn’t a fan of the idea but the new/half moons cast way too fast for the dmg they deal for sure.

IMO full moon should be the only moon, 45sec CD cost 80 AP 2.7 sec casttime nuke.
Radiant Moonlight should reduce cd by 5 sec and make it grant some AP back.
This way i’d be very relevant but not too OP.

You only say that because you go against other casters most of the time. But the armor from bear is brutal to melee. By the time he’s topped off by his healer while in bear, he is backing to cycloning everyone.

nah with melee on you the moment you get topped off and hop out of bear to cast you can be forced right back into bear again. Also this is assuming you even get the cast off with all the kicks and micro cc available. Dealing with boomkins is not difficult. They just do too much damage at the moment. But killing a boomkin is not difficult.

Not true. In order for a dps spec to be S-tier it has to do a lot of damage/burst and be hard to kill. If boomy was easy to kill it wouldn’t be as insane as it is. All of the best specs are also the hardest to kill (sub, sp, aug, etc.).
