Oneshots shouldn’t exist, period - that’s obvious to any PvP’er…
From the Boomy perspective as well, Moon might be fun if successfully pulled off, but is risky. I can see Precog enabling some shenanigans potentially but I wouldn’t take Moon no matter how hard it hits. Maybe it’s just me missing out on oneshots but I’d much rather be safe and consistent with my go’s, focusing on CC setups and punishing mistakes. Looking forward to hearing experiences with fullmoon from the high rated boombooms
not high rated or anything but while New-Full Moon should see a nerf I don’t think that it should go back to being something that is never taken. The alternative is take fury of elune and burn people down with instants. People cry about that too. At least now druids are casting and getting the cast off can be impossible in some lobbies. Probably better in 3s with more coordination. I’d just like the spell to still be a viable option post nerf. I like casting. If it gets gutted I’ll go back to running around spamming instants but this play style is more fun and rewarding for me. Juking kicks, trying to get cyclone out to blast someone. It’s more engaging game play for me.
Dont forget cyclone. I’d take a cyclone nerf before a full moon nerf
Make the cast shorter, reduce the CD, while taking the damage down. You could still make it a reliable damage source for a big hit. Just needs to be toned down abit.

You’re missing out on some easy rating if you aren’t running full moon with precog.
You can force a precog after Owlkin frenzy proc by going for the clone with a quick juke in there, especially if trinkets are down. Makes for some easy shuffles.
It’s a lot harder in rated 3s.
It’s reminding me of early season destro that melted you with instants and if you gave them precog they bolted your face off

good players also stop full moon all game so its not fun to play as well
its just eventually teams run out of stops for full moon and it just hits way to hard

I was sitting on the pillar and figured it was going to hit hard. That said, I went LOS to avoid any further damage and to recover. Thought I would make it in time to avoid the next hit. Oh well.
The damage is unreasonably high.
The reason boomy damage and utility is so high is they are almost always the target. I’d happily take a generous defensive buff to compensate any clone and damage nerfs.
My prediction is that high winds will get nerfed though so dont get hyped for damage or clone nerfs.
That’s because if you don’t tunnel a moonkin you will die to your team being perpetually cycloned/highwinds/and at this point also letting them cast moons.
