Whatever they do, I would expect a lot of skill shots
A lot of communities are a LOT more toxic than WoWâs but Leagueâs community is extremely notorious for being arguably the worst fandom ever, gaming or otherwise, period. And that says a lot considering that the Steven Universe, Voltron, or Super Smash Bros. fanbases are among those fandoms.
I agree. It was a relief to come back to WoW in BFA and interact with a community that isnât nearly as toxic and high strung, since itâs not a hardcore competitive game. But I play competitive games, and my friends play competitive games, and we all agree that competition brings out the worst in people.
But I feel that in Shadowlands, toxicity is on the rise. I am just wondering if Blizzard will implement any features to promote pro-social interaction, as Riot and other companies have done. It hasnât gotten to that point yet, but it would be so nice if they would address it sooner than later.
i was more of a captain teemo type of person back in the day and had quit lol around the time Warwick came out in favor of WoW.
How do you know? Maybe they just have people who settle instead of being greedy and making things public.
Or maybe they donât actually hire females in certain departments.
or maybe

whats the endgame like
How do we know?
Because the EEOC has yet to bring charges against Blizzard Entertainment in the past 1.5 years since the original complaint.
The article you are pointing at only states that the EEOC contacted employees about filling out a survey. The original complaint alleged racial discrimination but as of this time there has been no charges brought.
One of the articles linked further up shows that Riot Games had settled for 10 million but the State of California agencies stepped in and said the 10 million dollar settlement was too low and said it should be 400 million dollars.
So because you donât see anything advertised in that article, it doesnât occur?
How about some of the history of the guy running things

or this

I really like League and it will be nice to see the lore be more than a footnote.
The person in the 2nd article is the same person that filed the EEOC complaint.
Once again, the EEOC has not filed any charges against Blizzard in the past 1.5 years since the complaint was filed and ONCE AGAIN the only action the EEOC has taken is to a send a survey to the employees.
Maybe you need to look into how the EEOC handles investigations.
Ruining one MMO wasnât good enough for him I guess. He had to go to league and ruin that and then ruin another MMO.
4 attacks. a warrior is a full hot bar? Warriors had no spells.
Rangers had attack ranged attack kick plus spells starting at level 9 out of 50 (about 1 per level). FYI combat was maybe ranged attack, then attack and after that kick every few seconds with maybe a snare before the end of combat. Most spells were buffs for in-between combat. a druids level 1 spells (which is what rangers got @ 9) does do much dagga to a level 10 mob.
Paladins SKs had attack and bash plus spells starting at level 9 out of 50 (about 1 per level) Paladins were warriors with level 1 cleric spells @ 9 and Sks were warriors with level 1 necro spells @ 9.
Ill be honest with you, I hate how many buttons WoW has. I shouldnât need 3 bars to have everything I use. I shouldnât need 1 - + and F1 - F12 just to play my class. IT took me a while when I went back to Classic to remember auto attack is a thing and to use it.
I just see EQ as vastly less than WoW and every time I go back I loe itâs simplicity in comparison.
I prefer EQ classic to anything after it. Anything before Luclin was the best time in ANY MMORPG for me. I had fun in all the rest but nothing had the combination of everything early EQ did.
Everything after were just video games and too far removed from D&D to be as fun.
I honestly didnât really like Ghostcrawler as a developer one time for a mistake he made. The fact that he left Blizzard was not a bright one for the balance of the game looking back at it.
Perhaps he changed and learned something along the way and he is also a balance dev for LoL. Even though some things about LoL is whack and streamlined (RIP Old Mordekaiser
)⊠Even though I have not played LoL in a very long time (Iâm an Azir main btw)⊠I definitely would give Runeterra MMO a toss.
Iâd be accompanying either Shurima, Piltover + Zaun or the Shadow Isles if any of them are playable.
Sounds like a warrior problem to me. Doesnât have anything to do with my point though since I didnât say that wow and eq had the exact same number of abilities per character, I said both games had abilities that you drag on to a hotbar and the combat system is button mashing.
Not a fan of GCs game philosophies but I give him credit for openly engaging the wow community when he worked there.
I hope his game works out.
My bad, I focused on the full part of the bar, not the bar itself.
GhostCrawler took his lead from above once Activision took over.
Blizz was never an independent company afterwards and a leaked memo exposed that long ago. Anyone who though otherwise was simply being foolish.
GC got tired of being told by Activision what they wanted in WoW and he left.
Dont think he ruined anything. He surely had directions from up above
Nah, have no interest.
It wouldnât matter to me if they had 100s of those a year, I just think it is naive to say they donât have any.
Some of those types of complaints end up taking almost a decade to be finalized.
