Whaaaaat? Consequences for actions? Those don’t exist

Work experience and interactions within the work place are tangible things.
How I feel inside or identify is intangible. Unless I get caught whispering to a co-worker “psst…I lied I’m actually not a woman” how on earth would they ever know?
That’s why I’m asking, what is the burden of proof? Do people have to take a lie detector test? Do they have to actually have surgery?
…or can I just simply say “I feel like a woman, I’ll be taking that job as a diversity hire thank you very much ez game ez life”.

This is almost never a good policy. It sounds good on paper, but in practice is almost always a mess. I’ve been in more places than one that instituted a zero tolerance policy and it ended up with more innocent people losing their jobs than guilty people facing consequences.
The salary cut is a good move, and I’m not as familiar with how forced arbitration works so I won’t weigh in, but it sounds positive.
I legitimately hope they start making REAL moves, and making real changes. I think they have a long road ahead of them as a company regardless, but you have to start somewhere.

this is the same guy that says his company philosophy is to take the fun out of making video games. he is quite literally one of the most toxic people left in the workplace so this is so funny. I don’t care how much money he gives away, to him it just means he can’t make it to a few golf trips.
Well he was subpoenaed and all that so his lawyer team had to get him to sing a tune so to speak. It’s nice to see-read but time will tell how it plays out.
It is a bit of line to walk the way I see it. Diversity can be good and all but at the same time part of the reason the field is more dominated by white males is because there the ones going into the field more to begin with. At least it seems typically that such technical fields have not quite reached a level where those trying to start out in it say in College has balanced out to be diverse in the first place.
Maybe I’m not in right but I would worry about hiring just to be diverse for the sake diviersity over say qualified individuals.

It takes a rare male individual to give up companionship and be able to abstain from sex and be willing to dress up like a woman full time. If they are willing and able to do all those things, they probably were never binary to begin with.
Would be more impressive if they just said they were hiring people who could write rather than embodying specific physical characteristics. But that’s just me.

That’s what I was asking, what are the requirements to being non-binary? Can a non-binary person still dress like a normal man and have relations with, even be married to, a woman?
It seems to me like the only requirement is saying you are non-binary.

Or you could look at it as trying to get multiple perspectives on their team, in the interest of drawing ideas from many different sources and ideology.
Or you can parse it down to “lol they wanna hire because lady parts”.
Up to you I guess.

I get that but I never went to a mechanic for example and picked them by what they were beyond their skill as a mechanic.

This is going in circles now, yes people can lie on their application/resume. People fake being disabled, lie about their age, etc. etc. Will they get away with it, long term? No. Co-workers aren’t your band of brothers, they often narc on everyone over every little thing.
Would be great if they replace Golden with someone more open-minded to ideas, really hate her after she said Anduin Wrathion is not happening.
