My view, again, is common sense.
They are taking women who stay home for 3 months plus for pregnancy leave into the total median pool. How isn’t that deceitful?

Why are you so focused on what is happening inside Erne company non game related?
You don’t like how company treats their employees? You wanna leave the game because of that? Then don’t use any technology witch microchips todays because kids have to mine for the raw materials. I didn’t see that as fair. Like I said before and I will say again. Blizzard didn’t do anything or their game to harm it, it’s streamers and this kind of side of player base that literally is brining the game on knees. They don’t like they feature? Sure let’s post it online and bash the company for it.
Like they are obligated to provide you with enjoyment and satisfaction.
If you think for one second that Bobby Kotick did this voluntarily, I have some lakefront property in Silithus to sell you.
They tossed out some money to placate the mob.
They made some empty noises about hiring to placate the mob.
They issued a letter filled with empty talk and pleasant-sounding buzzwords to placate the mob.

This is true, I saw a movie about a guy who pretended to be black to get into one of those all black colleges. It wouldnt end well though. Be honest I guess is the point here.

California’s unemployment rate is 1.5 times higher than the national average, hovering at almost 8%. Why wouldn’t someone take the opportunity at employment through a high-successful, multibillion dollar company–especially during is transitional phase into something new?

My cold, black, cynical heart was actually moved when I read this. I’m not convinced they’re going to execute this cultural change perfectly, I’m impressed that they’re taking it on like this.

This is indeed great news. I’m glad they’re addressing at least one of the employee demands. Hope to see more from it.
Diversity hiring and opportunities aside, I hope they’re also looking at investing more into their existing employees as well. Both the hiring of new employees (especially in the customer support field) to lessen the burden of the few remaining ones, and reevaluating the low salaries of such positions.
I, as a consumer, would love to see more done to improve the quality of the game from a customer support level. Because, as it stands, ActivisionBlizzard has to have one of the absolute worst customer support teams.

I oppose quotas like this. Its framed as compassionate, but in reality its a codified form of discrimination.
Consider a situation where a qualified person who happens to be male applies for a job there, but is turned down purely because there are “too many males”, and they leave the post unfilled until a person that is female or non-binary applies, regardless of their qualifications.
Sorry, that’s gross. How about this instead:
“We won’t ask, and therefor will make no judgements on applicants on the basis of sex, gender, race, religion, or age. We will conduct hiring based only verifiable qualifications exclusively. In tandem with this effort, we will expand our reach to ensure we advertise employment opportunities to as many communities as possible to encourage a diverse hiring pool in hopes to make these career opportunities truly equal across the spectrum.”
This is just a mercilous robber baron capitalist virtue signalling social justice talking points to give himself a pat on the back and save face.
