I literally just did it. Using Blizzard’s own keybindings interface, I bound CTRL-SHIFT-E to an unused action bar button.
It’s been a while since I’ve used a keyboard with G keys, but it’s entirely possible you could just assign an unprogrammed G key to trigger a button on your action bar.

You may wish to read the OP, I’ve been doing that bit for 15 years.
It is the other bit that the G95 can’t do.
You can’t program your G keys to CTRL-SHIFT-(A-E)?
Remember, one keypress, one in-game action. If you program a ‘true’ keyboard macro to trigger multiple in-game actions, expect to be sanctioned.

Well - techincally - I can, I’ve been doing it for 15 years on Logitech, Cougar and Razer keyboards.
The problem is the Corsair K95 doesn’t allow it.
Did you watch the video I linked?
Nah, you didn’t bother reading my OP, so watching a 10th video on how to use iCUE seemed to be pointless.
Aight, I tried, It looked to me like a reasonably foolproof how-to. After re-reading the OP (again) I seem to be missing the part where you’ve watched N tutorial videos.
Good luck with your new keyboard.
Desiccate:
iCue does let me record a macro, but that records 6 actions (Ctrl down, Shift down, A down, Ctrl Up, Shift Up, A up) - just by pressing the G1 key. So the question is - would that break the T&C given I’m just trying to assign the keystroke to the Macro button?
This is your solution. Have a good one.
I didn’t see a solution, if you have an answer to that - I’d love to hear it.
You can most certainly do it on the K95. G1 is operating as ctrl-shift-A.
I just did it on mine, after watching the very first part of the video, using keystroke remapping.
But hey - you might want to drop the attitude towards those taking the time to try to help you.

No. The answer is no, that would not violate the EULA.
You seem to be hung up on the fact that the iCue software logs both the key press and the key release. That is a non-issue.
By the way, you’re welcome.
Without recording a macro - how do you do it.
When I do it, the software removes the Ctrl as soon as I press the A.
Do you have a link to where recording a multi action macro doesn’t violate the EULA ?
Key Assignments --> Click + to create a new assignment -->
Click “Keystroke” --> Click “G1” to select it -->
Click on the edit box under where it says “Type a key”, and type the keystrokes -
Be sure to hold down CTRL, and hold down “SHIFT”, then hold down “A”.
That’ll give you the sequence of 3 keys depressed together “Ctrl” + “Shift” + “A”
Simply typing them one by one won’t work - as you’ve discovered.

Be sure to hold down CTRL, and hold down “SHIFT”, then hold down “A”.
That’ll give you the sequence.
It does not.
Pressing Control - shows Ctrl, holding down Ctrl and pressing Shift removes Ctrl and changes it to LeftShift, continuing to hold Ctrl and Shift and pressing A removes the leftshift and replaces it with A.
I didn’t discover that, as that’s never how I’ve done it before in the >10 years I’ve done this on other keyboards.
Not sure what to tell you - but I’ve just done that.

What model Keyboard do you have, what version of iCUE ?
Any other settings I need to change?

It does not.

The OP that I allegedly did not read would seem to indicate otherwise:

K95 RGB Platinum v3.21.28
iCue v. 4.11.274
Besides keyboard lighting effects and a lighting profile for WoW, my other settings are default.

Well now you’ve read it, you are now misquoting from it …
