I really don’t expect this change to last long at all. The bot issue isn’t with Dungeons. BoEs put on the AH isn’t the issue being addressed here. All legit farms go down the drain, because farming in the Open-world is where the bot issue lies. But lets just all ignore that and punish people for not wanting to do the longest grind of 1-60 by making boosting and things impossible.
uh yea, you realize botters are using fly-hacks, teleport hacks, and wall hacks now to bot instances, right? this is 100% about botters and wont do a thing.
Why not update Anti-cheat (Warden) to just ban people exploiting? Now I have to worry about dungeon limits for the whole day while farming for specific items that don’t seem to ever drop off of certain bosses. Can’t zone in to your raid? Bet you wish you didn’t run that Deadmines earlier on your alt because of the bots that are “Hard” to catch in the act of exploiting.

This is ridiculous, so out of touch of what actually takes place in your own game. Imagine having hot fixes dropped by people that don’t even play their game or listen to their community WHATSOEVER. THIS WILL CREATE MORE BOTS. It gives greater power to the farm accounts. So now I can’t go farm SGC or HOJ and also go do DM jump runs without worrying about my raid lockout which is going to cost me 3-5 lockouts alone. I just don’t see how this harms the bots and benefits the actual players in the community. SHAME ON YOU BLIZZARD.

IK the Community has a thing against Bots, in regards to Blizz, however they’re not -just- targeting the Bots. But -all- Players, that Cheat. I’ve witnessed Players (not Bots) Cheating in this Game and should be equally as punished as those who Bot. The Bots are not the -only- Targets, here, but -all- Players that Cheat. You do realize you can Cheat in this Game, without Botting, right?

That may be true. But if you go farm on a Monday night and get locked out for the day, you are locked for 24 hours. So if you have raid the next day at say 5 pm, but didn’t start your runs the previous day until 6 or 7 pm. You SoL. This system is trash and punishes players severely without punishing bots as severly. If this was really about getting rid of bots they’d make the changes across your account instead of per realm.
can you explain how players ‘cheat’ without botting or hacking?
have you reported these players?

now botters know they need MORE accounts to accomplish the same. If anything, this seems pretty counter productive
Looking at other peoples comments, they totally just took the April Fools post from 2006 and made it real.
Discussing how to Cheat in this game, on the Forums, is against the Rules. But, I’d be happy to discuss these matters outside of the realm of these Forums.

Oh, I have. That doesn’t mean Blizz is -only- focusing on Botters. You don’t have to be a Bot, to Cheat.
Its because their april fools jokes from 2006 are better ideas than this trash team can come up with

Blizzard at it again: Making changes no one wants, to fix absolutely nothing, and pigeonhole every single person into playing their way.
Bot owners will just buy more accounts to skirt the timer. While the actual players get the shaft for legitimately playing their 1 account.
Revert this change. It’s a bad joke and you know it.
