New Instance Limit in WoW Classic

If it’s in Vanilla it’s fine - it’s what we signed up for (i.e. 5/hour).
If it as not in Vanilla, it’s not (i.e. 30/day) - it’s something done by the current batch of devs that have butchered retail into its current form causing us to quit retail.
It’s not difficult to understand.

Imagine someone in this day and age defending botting with random accusations of narcissism.

Imagine that.

They mentioned nothing of bots.

I’m the one who mentioned bots in the post they responded to, and they accused me of narcissism when I suggested that maybe players should quit botting and/or playing as much as a bot.

None of us are defending botting. Good grief.

We’re defending legitimate hard core players, and feral druid players that have had a negative impact by this change.

Blizzard has given ZERO, I repeat, ZERO indication that this was to combat some magical farming quantity or repeat game play that has been approved and gone unchanged for sixteen years. I still do not understand why legitimate farming techniques that have been used since the beginning of the game are suddenly being considered “exploits”. Especially since Blizzard has NEVER and still HAS NOT described the game play a tiny group of you are complaining about as an exploit or inappropriate in the context of vanilla.

How hard is that to understand?

And he was obviously referring to your ridiculous audacity to try and tell legit players how to play the game and what is or is not excessive. He is correct with his remark.

It was the very first thing they said when they announced this:

Nothing in that states what exploit they’re targetting.

Bots were not doing 30 instances a day, heck they were not even doing 90 instances a day, they were doing 120 instances a day.

So no, players farming we’re not playing as much as bots.

Since you’re too lazy to consult a dictionary, let me translate for you:

automated gameplay = botting

Legit players farming instances does not = botting.

Those are covered by the exploitative portion of the phrase.

Exactly!! Please, those of you defending this. Show us the blue post showing that they don’t want farming of DME jump runs, SGC, HoJ, mage farming (minus pathing issues, we agree that needs to be fixed), etc.

Where is this posted, ever, in the context of vanilla.

They do not define what exploit they’re targetting. So no, it isnt covered.

The exploits was referring to fly/wall/ground hacking

Are you seriously suggesting playing the game is an exploit?!

Anyone with an ounce of common sense can figure it out. What players are being impacted by this change? The ones who are exploiting the closeness of the mobs to the start of the instance in order to reliably farm a weapon that should have taken weeks or months to acquire in a matter of days.

Come again? How does this address fly/wall/ground hacking?

Yes, the supporters of this change are doing just that. They hate the hard core community to the point where they want us gone. They’ve said just that several times.

This group of players is the core reason for the game losing subs and the slow destruction that has happened in retail.

Mobs being close to the start of an instance and people grinding them have never been an exploit.

Those who use pathing exploits to boost people, the pathing is the exploit, not the boosting.

You should acquire some common sense yourself.

Sorry, but no. The endless grind for AP in BFA was down to the players who think that having to play like a bot to upgrade your gear is a good idea. It’s actually the fault of the players who think that the ability to run 30+ instances 24/7 is core game play.
