And what exploits do you think they were talking about?
(I like how you ignored the other posts where they flat out say it was to stop instance farming.)

This change is completely asinine & unfairly punishes players who are farming in game items. Not to mention players who want to raid and dungeon farm in the same day. EVEN if its on a different character. Botters will only pay for more accounts to circumvent the problem. Perhaps that’s something Blizzard has already thought of tho …
Yes, because several posts from 10 years ago during a period of the game that was not Vanilla completely validates the support for this horrible change in a game that we keep begging them not to CHANGE!
/facepalm
You could read the thread or just continue posting without context I guess.
Dude I said the exact same thing. They’re going to make it hard for legit players to farm, hike prices, bring wow token. Its so obvious. THey arent even being smart about it.
Incoming cash shop rare items.
You want that BoeD?
Either farm is 30/day for a year or buy it from the cash shop for $10!
…
Could not agree more
Good afternoon Blizzard, this is your daily reminder that I am a legitimate player being affected negatively by this trash change. Appreciate it.
The slightly negative impact this has on a relatively minuscule number of “legitimate” players, who were abusing the reset mechanic at grossly frequent levels
Fixed that for you.
How is actively playing the game farming emulating a bot? This entire game is full of repetitive activities. Farming a dungeon isn’t any different.
Farming a dungeon 10-20 times a day is fine. Complaining because you’re limited to 30 tries? Come on!
Hey blizzard, so i’ve let this change sit for a few weeks now and i still continue to support it, it has been great for the game and it has helped restore some of the spirit of classic!
When you guys get it right, it’s a home run! Thank you!
Unless you got statistical data referencing how many people actually did it back then youre talking outta your behind. Just sayin.
Imagine someone having the audacity and being narcissistic enough to tell people how to play or that they should even have a right to tell people how they should play the game they all spend their money on.
Imagine that.
I’m not going to sit there and dismantle your entire post so I’ll just hit this one thing. The changes in drop rate reflect the patch 1.10 changes in drop rate:
https://wow.gamepedia.com/Patch_1.10.0
Appears I misunderstood and was wrong on that. Thank you for the correction.
As for dismantling the rest of the theory, I don’t see how you could provide any evidence against just as I obviously cannot provide any evidence for, so agreeing to disagree is probably for the best bet. Please understand though, I’m not asking you or anyone else to believe it too. I just hope you understand that from the viewpoint of someone who does believe the possible malicious influence on retail, why #nochanges is extra important as it’s the only line of defense we players have.
The 30 instance limit is a change, and it is provably against the spirit of classic (as seen from the April Fools joke), therefore it is bad - regardless of how many legitimate players are hitting or not hitting the cap.

Did vanilla WoW have limits on how often you could run instances, yes or no?
I just haven’t felt like playing since this change and cancelled my sub.
exploitative and automated gameplay
doesn’t say anything about farming instances here.

Thats because it cant be fly hacking or wall hacking. Its gotta be those dang legit players farming instances more than 30+ a day. It only makes sense. /sarcasm off
It is pretty hilarious how far some of these trolls go to twist Blizzards words
Wouldn’t want people playing their game anyway
