New Instance Limit in WoW Classic

lets be real, the dungeon boosting meta supports real money trading. it encourages individuals to buy gold then powerlevel through buying boosts with the purchased gold.

LOL. I don’t have a smartphone with an active plan! How will I ever play that game?

Yes because they care about our health thats why this game isnt addictive on purpose

Especially since it won’t.

For you, on one realm- that’s 6 hours max you can do in a day of dungeon farming.

For a bot, they roll on 4 realms, with one account- they can do 6 hours per realm, and thus still bot just as long, with a single account.

It is a ‘fix’ that does literally nothing to hurt bots. LITERALLY NOTHING.

You realize this does absolutely nothing vs the rampaging bots and gold sellers, because they have hordes of accounts, right?
It only punishes the players farming and content creators.

Instead of actually banning the bots that are constantly being reported (a big amount can’t even be reported) you do this dumb move that pushes away actual players and drives away people making guides like Arlaeus?
What is this gonna stop when the botters and gold sellers have dozens upon dozens of accounts at their disposal?
Can’t be arsed to hire a person per realm to check for bots, too much money for an indie company so let’s just cut down the most fervent players.

This is going to hurt people actually playing the game as well. Pretty lazy “fix” if you ask me. I really think there should be another solution to this problem.

then adjust the experience gains when being boosted by a 60. this isnt the fix.

This is extremely heavy handed and is a large impact to all players. I understand going after the botters but there is a large player base that farms and levels in instances. This is going to greatly impact us. Please do not implement this 30 instance cap as it is a large negative to legitimate players.

Also if you do implement this does it apply to all characters on your account or your battle net? I have two accounts on the same battle net does that double up on the instance count or are those two separate counts?

Are you going to add an instance counter? This way we can atleast see where we are at so we can make sure not to cap ourselves.

i am genuinely curious on what goes on through blizzards head? do they have no clue how to run a game? they had such a success with classic launch and just like retail are just letting it die and die

And even if they only had one account, they make characters on four realms and that one account can still bot all day in dungeons- so even then it does nothing.

What is “intended,” can you source a dev stating how to play?

I guarantee this, and I don’t care what Blizzard’s “data” is telling them either, this will go on to more adversely affect NORMAL players than anyone breaking ToS.

I’d love to see them try LMFAO. This game is going to die faster than the original one died after WotLK… so sad.

I wish Blizzard would do it’s job the right way instead of being lazy trying to automatize the game so they don’t have to work at all on this game which also will penalize actual players. If you had actual GM’s like what it was before or something… but nowadays bots run for weeks or months before anything is done even when they get reported no one does anything. Like I said this is Blizzard/Activision at it’s best. Get the money from subscription and let the game rot.

Logged in to the forums just to say – this change is hot garbage. This only punishes legitimate players. Everyone saying “I don’t see the problem with it” are the people who don’t do DME jump runs, Jed resets, Gnomer farming, SGC/HoJ farms, ZG herbing, etc. This significantly and negatively impacts an absolute ton of players at the endgame and will result in an inflated economy and farm more world node/herb spawn contests. Good luck finding any herbs or RTVs in the world when people don’t have ZG dreamfoil or jumpies. Good luck affording mats when the supply drops.

What an idiotic, hamfisted, ignorant, regressive, thoughtless, uninformed, avoidable approach taken to challenge “exploitative” gameplay. It’s clear that exploitative in this sense refers to gameplay that doesn’t result in increased revenue for Activision.

YOU HAVE GOT TO BE FING KIDDING ME!
not only have you guys killed boosting through this…
YOU SCREWED FERAL DRUIDS FROM FARMING PUMMELERS!!!
and yes i do 40+ runs a week for pummelers, usually 1 day dedicated… this is the STUPIDEST thing you guys have ever implemented… pick up your balls and start banning the f
*ing bots!
i have 5 accounts and if this starts screwing with world buffs/pummeler farming/gold making… im canceling all 5 accounts cause whats the point in playing a game THAT GETS CHANGED WHEN WE DIDNT ASK FOR CHANGES… WE WANT CLASSIC THE WAY CLASSIC WAS!

This won’t help if people have stolen accounts and run bots on them.
They have multiple accounts to run off of.
Everyone knows there’s advantages to owning multiple accounts to progress, but I shouldn’t have to own multiple accounts if I want to look for Jed, boost people, or farm pumblers.

Please remove the boot drop from Crowd Pummeler 9-60. We have to spend hours farming this awful place. And you guys clearly don’t care about feral druid and with this change you guys made things so much harder.

Nice gate keeping

I am not really worried about this change. Nobody welcomes this change unlike the Black Lotus one, where the Black Lotus prices dropped and the majority of the players benefit from it. This change, on the other hand, benefits multiboxers only who have more lockouts than people with a single account.
