This is to combat instance boosting and GDKP.
I’m going to repeat this since I see people keep saying ‘botters will buy more accounts’. No, it’s not even that hard for botters to bypass this.
It’s 30 lock outs PER REALM. For you and I, who play on one realm, that means 30 per day, or 6 hours worth of dungeons.
For a bot, it doesn’t matter- they don’t care if they sell gold on one realm or 4 realms, and that’s literally all they have to do per account- is make characters on four realms.
This change hurts players that farm sure- but it LITERALLY DOES NOTHING to bots.
That’s the biggest problem here- is that it DOES NOT even have the intended effect.

There needs to be a better way to manage botters. This is a major handicap on some of us legit players that have worked very hard. I have spent 9 hours per day killing princess for blade of eternal darkness since May 3rd (42.5 kill average per day, 1870+ kills at this time). The drop rate is already atrocious and you just made the grind ~20% longer for me. If you are going to do this, at least remove the per hour requirement so that we can cap what we want and go have real lives.
Will there be a working tracker to keep track?
This game is intended to be playable FOREVER.

And they can still do them within the limits proposed. I seriously don’t think it will have a major impact on the majority of people. Maybe even give the few that are impacted a chance to relax a bit and do something else 
so when is this gonna get reversed? or you gonna wait to lose subs like how the server dying happened? gonna wait for the game to die even more b4 you come to your senses or you just gonna let this ruin your game up? oh wait i forgot, retail is a thing. blizz is good at ruining up their games
GG blizz strikes again. this new limit will hurt people actually farming the dungeons. All blizz has done is introduce more bots to the open world to compensate for lack of dungeon farming. Heavily populated servers atm you can’t even herb open world. So we resort to farming DM:E . then between those farms we jump on our alts to run a few dungeons, and having a mage alt i provide a boosting service for people who request it. Guess what im now locked out of my raid, as i can’t play everyday. GG blizz lets see what stupid change comes next.

No- a single account can farm on multiple realms.
So they don’t even have to make multiple accounts- they can just farm gold on different realms, it makes no difference to them.

@Kaivax I know it’s not your decision, but this is an incredibly lazy way to try to solve the botting issue (if that is indeed what it’s for). This hurts legitimate farming far more than it will hurt bots, especially this late in classic.
From someone who has championed Blizzards handling of classic from the start, I feel betrayed as a subscriber in the sense that I’m paying the price for issues created by players that are botting.

Just an FYI so DMN tribute buff+ Bwl+Mc+Ony is 4 instances alone that day if all done in one day. and when tryhards come aq20/aq40 6 instances entered in 1 day.

What part of the gold selling bots having multiple accouints did you guys miss? You have literally given the gold sellers the upper hand now, they have the ability to farm all day long with multiple accounts. 1 mage is locked out ? no problem, the gold selling company has many of them to keep the stocks rising.
Its actually an insult to the legit players who play this game. Since economies are destroyed are you know putting us in a position where we wont be able to keep up and were forced to buy gold now? I mean theres a multitude of issues and you guys arent even trying to get rid of the bots, its an insult man. feels very bad especially after playing amazing private servers for years that were run in basements.
I hope the backlash is good enough that you guys actually try to delve into the problem instead of coming up with really crappy bandaid fixes everytime you’re pressed.

Maybe they could ask the other nine people to also look for Jed, and then form up into a raid when somebody finds him. Should only take one or two IDs per person.
