Yeah, and if you hit cap what are you supposed to do when you are 60? BG?.. play retail? like this change actually makes 0 sense
No it does not help the situation as you clearly did not read the fine print in the blue post. It says “PER REALM” - the 30 instance limit is PER REALM per account. Once the botter is done his 6 hours on Realm A, the bot will simply switch to Realm B for the next 6 hours and remain in instances 24/7 as before. After botting 6 hours on realms C and D, the 24 hour lockout will be reset on realm A again.
A botter with 4 accounts will be able to service 4 realms 24/7 EXACTLY as before.
The only people who will be hurt by these changes is actual players who are farming for something - be that trinkets from BRD, consumables from Gnomer, Epics from Mara, or just plain Gold, XP and rep from ZG or SM. Truthfully, in the crazy (and difficult) pulls for boosting some people in this thread resent - it hurts the Boostee more than the Booster, since the booster can get another account and continue on selling boosts as if the limit wasn’t there. The Boostee is the one locked, and he better hope his 24 hours expires before raid night on his main.
Yep, I agree.
Oh yeah, I hadn’t thought of that. It does take a lot of time and effort to get a 60 on multiple servers, I mean it’s not like the characters play themselves.
Oh wait, no, that’s LITERALLY WHAT A BOT DOES.
They need to spread their resources across multiple realms to get the same result which attacks their profit margin and investment of time…
Lets say they had accounts on realms A B C D this still cuts their profits O>O
Organiccow is a troll and/or retail idiot.
It still costs them time to level…This is literally business plans 101…
What Blizzard should do is hire a couple real in game GM’s for each server like the good old days. The GM’s can join boost groups and account ban the bots they come across.
But they wont because the head of the company needs his 30mili salary
You cant just ban bots, its an endless army.
Back in wrath we had ACTUAL SUPPORT. If we found someone botting he was banned within days…
100% Facts
wow, you take an initial lose to gain profits, not like investments is a thing, if it was I’d imagine millions of people irl doing… Oh right, investment IS a thing.
I love this community man, but blizzard needs to get in touch with it. This is becoming insane. Next will be if you wanna do more dungeons buy the Elite sub package! for 25 more dungeons a day!
its not an initial loss, They literally cant make as much money as before it is capped, On top of them adapting to the change by being forced to level which costs them time so its a win win.
post with your classic toon. cmon do it. just 1 time. thats all i need to post the largest bounty on your head classic has ever seen. PLZ DO IT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD I WANT ROGUES TO HUNT YOU DOWN TILL THE DAY YOU QUIT THE GAME.
He cannot because hes a retail troll. There’s some retailers who are actually putting in a discussion but this guy is purely a troll.
It’s not capped at all.
Before:
Bot A Server 1 for 24 hours/day
Bot B Server 2 for 24 hours/day
Bot C Server 3 for 24 hours/day
Bot D Server 4 for 24 hours/day
After:
Bot A Server 1/2/3/4 for 6 hours each per day
Bot B Server 2/3/4/1 for 6 hours each per day
Bot C Server 3/4/1/2 for 6 hours each per day
Bot D Server 4/1/2/3 for 6 hours each per day
24/7 coverage, making the exact same amount of gold regardless of the change.
honestly they may have inadvertently made gold selling more lucrative because now every account that bots is gonna have toons on at least 4 servers farming gold. The more servers they farm on the more opportunities they will have to sell said gold to players on that server.
Why not just add tokens to classic?
If they want gold sellers and bots gone.
