People wont make bots if they cant make a profit. Blizzard has to take measures that will limit the way bots make money even if it compromises some minor levels of our gameplay.
I’m with you man, I agree we should do something about bots but I HEAVILY disagree this is the way. There’s other ways man

It doesn’t limit anything.
They will just bot 6 hours on one server, 6 hours on another, etc until 24h passes and restart again.
Meanwhile instances farmers (not even including people who carry). Who run super quick ZG bloodvine farms or DME herb/aoe farms get punished.
This also doesn’t even effect world botters at all. It’s a change that in effect does nothing to botting but punishes real players.
It’s garbage.

So why don’t they do that instead of going after everyone except for bots?
It’d be one thing if this actually did anything to bots- but all a bot has to do is roll on four servers and voila, they’ve beat this fix. Instead of making 4k gold per day on one servers, they make 1k gold per day on each of 4 servers.
Oh yeah, that really solves the botting issue.

I really feel like they shouldn’t let you on CLASSIC FORUMS unless you have a level 60 on classic.
Now they need to invest time and resources to 4 servers which they would have only had to do on one.
Im not saying this is the fix of the century blizzard should be doing alot more then this which is frustrating.
But it’s bots… it doesn’t matter its not like there putting TIME into it. It’s BOTS it will do nothing
alts entering the same instance id don’t count towards the limit, I found this when using my shaman to open the door to ubrs for my warrior. didn’t add to the limit.

If it won’t it will… they said it counts on your entire realm.

Yeah exactly, If im a paying customer why should I GET PUNISHED for what the BOTS are doing, we should be able to farm 10000 dungeons a day if we want. We pay, some of us more than others.

This is a REALLY stupid decision. The real problem is botters, and Blizzard should work harder to fix the core problem, not this very misguided band-aid. Did Blizzard every stop and think that 30 BRD arena runs for SGC can be done in under 3 hours in the instances??? Each group of 5 runs takes <30 min, and it’s hardly unreasonable to do 30 runs in a day, given the crappy drop rate on SGC.
