I was hoping this would be the case for me, that when I actually tried it in game, and mixed and matched it with some other pieces I might actually like it, but sadly, no.
I did enjoy the heritage questline. Other than the part where you have to collect bones that are a low drop rate from a low spawn mob… but the armor looks heavily inspired by ancient rome, which Draenei have never drawn inspiration from. Whoever got assigned the project is not a draenei fan and know nothing about the lore.
Also, the bulky belt and helmet are just awful. They litterally erased our horns. They should have designed something to show them off, not to hide them.
What a shame.

Yeah I’d have liked to have seen a little voodoo doll, or some mojo, or even a skull, can you imagine if they gave us 1 skull??? that’d be amazing and completely unheard of! jk it should have been a no brainer.

Mained a darkspear for like 15 years. Not in any rush to do the heritage quest though. I already have enough embarrassing mogs.

You didn’t miss much to be honest the quest chain was fun but plot wise it was kinda meh, lets just say it didn’t go the distance.

This pretty much killed the whole vibe for me. Took the better part of an hour just riding around. Hopefully the troll one is better.

The draenei one looks great imo
The troll one, the…nose looks like something is sticking up that isn’t a nose xD
But draenei one I think got design pretty well for draenei. Draenei always been about the crystals and stuff like seen in exodar, I like it a lot.

Too many people + too few mobs + slow respawns + not 100% drop on the quest item (I got about 1/3 kills)
It’ll probably get better as less people need to do it, or if you grab a group maybe.

Plans changed I found a baby squirrel in my living room now I’m going to be taking care of him and contacting an animal rescue with my morning. No regrets the quests aren’t going anywhere.

agreed. it makes 0 sense and goes against everything by the very definition “heritage”.
every race heritage set should be special to the race that it was created for and symbolize everything that race is about.

Exactly, not only does it fail to capture the epicness of Darkspear cultural armor but it also doesn’t even fit the model properly. 3/10.
