Yup this is exciting news. till I got to the transfer after 90 days… there should be no transfer at all if they want the population to span out. Once transfer hits one realm will be chosen to transfer to while rest rot no ty.

You realize that if you EVER enable transfers to these realms it completely defeats the purpose of them, right? You’ll turn those transfers on and instantly get people with a million gold transferring to them and screwing them up.

Keep the transfers locked for far longer than that or restrict people transferring over to something small like 5k gold.

I think 5k is the cap in TBC. That would probably go up in Wrath though. But even with that cap, players find a way through bank and bags other tricks to bring over much greater value.
The transfer restriction should just never be removed. Keep these fresh servers pristine.

Never allow transfers, or boosting. Cap the faction numbers. keep it PVP, no warmode. We shall feast on the bots that dare step into our lands.

IDK what others think. But I personally hate double work. Having to re-level my character I been building up over TBC to just abandon and start all over on another “fresh” server is just f’n stupid to me. But hey, each to their own I guess. I do not want it and will not have anything to do with it. I mean, just look at classic fresh servers now… How there is just NOT anyone on them as a good example of players that do not want to do it… People are notorious at making bold claims, but very few actually follow through with them. People claiming they want fresh servers and actually playing them is one of them. Just my 2 cents…

Also, they could make it so when you transfer everything gets binded or something like that.
Or that you just can’t transfer with stuff in your bags, only what you have as gear wearing…

Bots will be running from day 1, along with 24x7 farmers. Unless there are new actions against those, which have not been announced yet.

There’s been such backlash against this…maybe they’ll reconsider.
The cynic in me really wants to say they just want to cash in on tons of transfers after 90 days. But there’s still a tiny part of me that hopes they care about the quality and integrity of the game and extend (or better yet make permanent) the transfer restriction.

I mean, that’s neat.
I personally could not remotely see myself starting fresh, hard pass on that.
But good for people that are interested in such. Now if only we could have blizzard “listen” to the countless voices of feed back on how we think their RDF decision is terrible.

if they are so interested in cashing out, they could keep the transfers but just make it so they can’t transfer with more than 5 k and nothing in their bags/bank. Only what you are wearing.
People would still pay to transfer, and everyone would be happy
