No Transfers except from an overbalanced side to an underbalanced side, or from an overpopulated server.
If server populations are too low, merge them earlier rather than later, or offer transers to these servers but only from other fresh servers.
I would rather see a small set of servers on open, with early mergers or transfers to resolve low population or activity, and later addition of servers if required to resolve overcrowding. Late server additions could accept transfers from overpopulated servers to get them started.
I am bringing a group to the first normal PVE server alphabetically (as I don’t know the server names yet). I hope it will have a high population as that’s the experience we’re looking for.
I had planned on a set of characters left in every expansion, had you kept at least one server running each. Some of us would appreciate that, the option to run each expansion’s end-game content at level. Each experience is unique. For those who miss the window, some consider the effort and expense a waste.

Please do not EVER allow transfers onto the fresh servers. There is only ONE(primary) reason anyone would want to do this: personal gain, whether from selling gold or having gold and/or gear to have an advantage over truly fresh players. The very moment transfers open it is effectively no longer a fresh server. Paid level boosts after 3-6 months bring (practically) nothing to the economy, and little or no personal advantage, so that’s not a problem really as long as you wait long enough to allow it.
I DO understand that many of us will be gone and/or raid logging after a few months. So I trust and hope that you will take a hard look before acting at 90 days. Finally, THANK YOU for 90 days of fresh servers. For me, leveling up with open world pvp is the best part of this game…BY FAR (no offense). I get to have relevant leveling with world pvp again for 90 days minimum wheeeeeeeeeeee!!!

They could allow transfers of chars from 1-70 lvl’s, after 3 months, with a cap of, let’s say, 500g per char and without any mats attached.
That would be fair and wouldn’t impact the economy at all.
Only 1-70 chars, without any big amount of gold/mats/recipes attached.
This measure, would also probably help this fresh servers, to keep some momentum, after the initial rush.

They hate the idea of fresh start servers, which is an order that probably comes from the $ guys. They will wait as long as possible to open them, allow transfers after 90 days to it for even more $. Everyone will lose but the corpse of Blizzard.
looking foreward to make a toon on fresh start server. brank new unfunked economy. im very much looking foreward to it. id like to see them stay fresh. new toons only no transfers and thats it.

Do we know when these servers are starting???
All we know is that they’re coming with pre-patch. We don’t even know server names or types yet 
I wish it would stay that way too. Unfortunately it will all be jacked up after 90 days the way it is now.
personally i hop that the fresh start servers dont allow transfers at all. keep the community protected that they are working so hard to let us know is important. keep the boosters and gold sellers off of it. let it be its own community. with a non broken AF economy

Feel free to join and list your info in one of the server categories you prefer. No idea if we’ll get one server in each category but we can update that as we get more details. Along with adding the names once we find out what those are. But for those of you that want to get an organizational jump and maybe start discussing leveling strats etc. It’ll give us a space to do that.

I’m with you on this. I’m deleting all of my alts on the TBC server
because I would rather start over again. I want to see how both factions develop
on the new server and want to see who gets a “server first” achievement.
