New Fresh Start Realms with Wrath Classic

Meh DKs coming in their 3.3.5 condition are fine. I’m not worried about them.

My mount rushmore of 4 best pro wrestlers:
Bret Hart
Sting
Hulk Hogan

GTFO with these demands. LMAO

Kaivax, gib beta key please. as someone whos been subbed for the majority of the past 15 years <3

I thought the same for SoM at first… but then I tried it. It was quite busy and fun. Made it to like level 36 without dying. The PvP changes brought me back to TBC, however.

Machoman Randy Savage?

Blizz, give us the fresh realms sooner rather than later please  :frowning:

I’d like to know what is the plan with the WotLK Fresh servers Pvp grouping. Will they compete with the progressive servers, or have their own group to play with? There’s obvious drawbacks to both, if they are on their own the player pool of both server types for pvp will be negatively effected. If they share pvp then there could be argument that they are at a disadvantage in the first few weeks potentially.

Another question, what about OCE WotLK Fresh servers? Will they exist or will the only fresh servers on NA client be on NA servers?

Just asked the same question, Think about the player pool if they split them though, especially on OCE which can barely field 2 AVs on AV weekends.

We are doing a fresh guild

Up top it says you have to have a level 55 to play a DK, but then Holly Longdale says you don’t? What’s the true answer? @kaivax

Holly Longdale – Lead Producer, WoW Classic

“So as you know with this expansion you will, in prepatch, be able to play the Death Knight. They will start at level 55, you don’t have to have a high level character to make a Death Knight so everyone will be able to make one.”

They definitely were. I remember, because the GM of my guild didn’t like waiting for 3 hours in queue to login, and transferred with our guild bank to a new server that none of us wanted to go to, and didn’t. RIP that GM (and all the stuff we had in the gbank).

For fresh realms, you’ll need to level a character to 55 in order to roll a DK. However, a new player rolling fresh on an existing realm can roll their first DK without having any other characters on that realm. If they wish to roll another DK on another realm, they will then need to have a level 55 character on that realm.

These realms” here means the New Fresh Start Realms.

With regards to the other realms (that are not New Fresh Start Realms):

What are the requirements to play a Death Knight?

Unlike the original release of Wrath of the Lich King, there are no requirements to create your first new Death Knight character. You may still only have one Death Knight character per realm, and any Death Knights created beyond your first on any realm require you to have an existing level 55 character on that realm.

Blizzard was actively expanding its servers through Cataclysm. We didn’t have layers like we do now.

There were a couple new servers in early Wrath. The last server I can see created was February 2009. So it’s been over 13 years since Retail had a new server.

Yeah, that could be. As you’ve said, 13 years… that’s a long time.

Exactly and 24/7 staffing of GM positions, at least one per sever is what the game was really designed to have in the first place.

Blizzard has only a few ways to monetize this old game, and transfers are one of the big ones. So, it’s in their interest to maximize the number of transfers, which is terrible for the community.

SO… I know No transfers to the fresh servers, But what about a **

transfer off

** when WotLK classic official launch day

cool fresh when

Very nice, as someone just coming into TBC for WOLTK I get annoyed with all the boosting and stuff in the regular servers so having a fresh server would be great!
