There has never been a more perfect example of intentionally adding a critical flaw into a potentially perfect product like this 90 days thing. These servers are for a specific player that want s a specific condition---- a fresh unadulterated server… not a temporarily fresh server with doom on the horizon. 3 months in a WoW environment is a blink of an eye.
This is like a person finding the love of their dreams they want to spend their life with, but oh there’s a catch… that person has explosive diarrhea in the bed every night… because they like to chug ex-lax for no reason.

since theyre only allowing it if you already have a 55 on that server, i doubt im gonna level a toon to 55 then start my DK there 
not arguing with the decision, probably correct, but ill just make a DK on current sadly
The new realms will probably just quickly die out after the pre patch is over and end up like the others they are retiring. After pre patch is over most people will probably just go back to their main toons.
This, exactly this. Transfers will break the egg. No way to put it back together afterwards.

It won’t even get off the ground because Blizzard continually sabotages their products. Transfer to fresh server after 90 days? No real fresh player is going to waste their time. I LOVE fresh, but I’ll only play the first week just for the energy unless they restrict transfers to and from these servers forever.

Maybe they’ll change their minds before then. And yes I know how naïve that is to say, given their history. They’ve probably sucked me back into the game because of these fresh servers and I’ll just continue to ask them not to open up transfers. If they don’t, I’ll keep playing. If they do…that’s more complicated. It almost certainly means the death of the servers. The economies will be ravaged. The community destroyed.
It really would just be another example of their hypocrisy. They say they want to remove dungeon finder because they want to preserve server communities. Then how can they turn around and allow transfers to a fresh server, thus killing the servers’ communities?

I don’t know if you are equating a fresh server to a server that will be implementing socialism and that’s why it will fail, just thought I should mention that a fresh server in no way emulates a socialistic economy.
So not sure if you we’re drawing a parallel or just taking a stab at socialism for no reason.

Why is Blizzard clueless on how to handle TLPs? It would make more sense to release this type of server starting in Vanilla then unlocking to Wrath overtime.
For the idiots that say " why would I level just to start over again at some point?" Thats how TLPs work and I am sorry if you thought your current toon on a classic TLP was “forever”.

Lmao it’s pathetic really, they are so insulted by the thought of everyone leaving their GDKP infested trash can servers where all their GDKP gold will be turned to dust because everyone is playing on fresh. Sorry but people want a fresh server and hopefully on this one blizzard actually takes care of the bots.

These servers will die just like SoM, they will have no player retention because nobody from TBC servers will want to play there. Lot of people will start wrath and quit after so long which will be death sentences to the guilds on these servers. Chain reactioning just more people quitting.
Those servers will become the same as all servers…
They aren’t policing those servers any different.
They aren’t stopping mage boosting.
You’re in denial if you think it will be different.

Hate to be the one with bad news, but people on fresh servers are going to be buying gold way before the 90 days is up.
maybe the players there can actually shun gold buyers and sellers and create a good community!

100%. And plenty of gold sellers/bots will always flood.
But it will be less. Instead of a torrential downpour, it starts as a trickle and increases from there.
I am hoping they are enabling the new report system with the prepatch so we can try to cleanup better, but who knows what they’re doing these days as they never report what they ban #s like other companies do.

Love the idea of fresh servers for wotlk.
Everyone starting a level 1 together and leveling together sounds fun.
It’s gonna actually feel like wotlk to me since that’s when/where I started
playing wow.

The transfer limit needs to be at 6 months instead of 90 days. Leave the server as actually fresh. Honestly, id like it longer but being realistic.
It loses all appeal if people can just bring their millions of gold over to inflate and destroy the economy and bring their old stuff over.
