I guess I didn’t realize anyone was bringing up SoM as anything to do with wotlk fresh.
The person I replied to mentioned why they thought SoM failed and then went on to talk about how many people like Wrath…
So I responded on as to why I didn’t stick with SoM…
How you concluded that has something to do with giving a reason for why wrath fresh will fail is beyond me.

On the bright side y’all got the LFG tool that you wanted.
Used it a lot in beta and worked fine even with the smaller population in the earlier invite pools.

agreed, i started wow back in the day on TBC and have NEVER joined a discord or until 2 days ago never even joined into these forums.
Only done so because i heard they were neglecting OCE for fresh realms and needed to have a whinge about it

The OCE population is not large enough for blizzard to add 2 OCE servers (1 pvp and 1 pve). Just roll on skyfury which will almost certainly be west coast server where your ping will be an unnoticeable 170MS.

It’s 2022 and we pay $19.95 AUD to play this game, no one wants to pay to play 170 ping mate….
Not including any transfers or race changes. Plus if the OCE actually do die then guess what, More $$$ for transfers. Where is the loss?
Really hoping blizzard comes through with a fresh server for OCE, vast majority of players returning and expecting to play on a fresh server wont have a voice here because of the subscription requirement.
