I would love to play on some new, FRESH, Classic servers.
Step #1. Consolidate empty servers

Maybe not. Apparently yesterday Blizzard finally fixed teleport / fly hacking. This was the #1 way bots farmed herbs + solod raids.
think so? I thought it was the ban waves… or how about the instance caps… but sure, this’ll be the silver bullet.
It could work. They’d have to periodically merge fresh servers into old ones though if they wanted to keep doing this. There’s a few issues they’d have to figure out like what to do when merging creates more than 10 characters on an account on a single server and what to do about character name conflicts. You’d also potentially have a lot of scarab mounts on an old server that has been merged into several times but I mean, who cares about that?
The thing that’s important to me is they don’t ever do anything to compromise the work I’ve put into my existing vanilla characters. That includes things like forcing them into TBC or introducing new gear which makes vanilla gear obsolete in some way.
Well ban waves aren’t effective. They allow gold farmers enough revenue from gold sales to create new accounts, thue giving Blizzard more revenue.
Instead of ban waves, bans should be immediate.

Remember how Blizzard said you couldn’t transfer for scarab mounts? That ended up being a lie. You can transfer for mounts. There was some huge posts recently about low and high pop servers with massive transfers in/out to abuse this.
I think we want a redo of Classic, with Blizzard fixing exploits in reasonable amounts of time.

yeah I saw the fix. I just think these are nothing but band aids because Blizz doesn’t want to fully solve the problem. These botters pay subs.

Unfortunately you are probably right. Why have an EULA when you don’t enforce it, especially when these EULA breaking actions hurt non EULA breaking customers? This is what it means to not have integrity.
It’ll slow them down not stop them.

How many accounts do you pay for? You want to talk about integrity? You believe Blizzard is morally corrupt, yet you continue to fork over more money to them than anyone here every month.
With all do respect. I’ve never seen someone with a 51 alt before, so I would guess this is your main? Maybe finish leveling before you ask for fresh servers.
Also, I would not want to see fresh servers. What is the point of all the work that it takes to gear up and get to 60 just to start over?
How would you know that what you see is the highest or the only alt? This isn’t my main nor my highest level alt. It seems your experience is limited or you’re confused by the pretty little picture next to the psuedonym.

If you make it a habit to stop your levleing process at 56, your either incapable of finishing or lazy. Or your posting things on a forum you dont have the gumption to stand by on your main.
56 is a terrible choice to stop your process. Your high enough to get wiped by level cap players in BGs, open to WPvP ganking, and your just shy of being able to enjoy all the raiding content. Just finish your last four levels.
Also, WoW is historically and will continue to be a massive profit generator for me. You could say I have a long history with this game and company…
And yet I still criticize their anti-consumer decisions despite my own personal gains. Why? Integrity.

I have 8 alts from 17 to 60. None of them have stopped leveling. I’m saving 2 slots for BC, a Dranei shaman and Belf pally. I post mostly on this priest because holy priest is the class I know the best from playing it from vanilla to BfA. For a long time here I posted on my level capped BfA priest. This alt is leveling more slowly because I like to heal dungeons and I don’t want to level out of them before I’ve done each one several times. I had enough experience in vanilla to know I don’t enjoy 40 man raids so I decided not to do them this time around. I’m just leveling alts and doing dungeons until BC when I’ll play more seriously.
I make no assumptions based on the avatar you use to post here. That may be your only 60 or you might have several. You might be an altoholic or this may be your only character.
