So many people have reasonable complaints about the game, and it is a serious shame to see that resources were spent on creating an ugly new forum.
It’s not only disappointing. It’s suspicious. Is this Blizzard trying to confuse and distract us? So we don’t complain as much about the game? Or so we focus our criticisms on the forum?
Nice try, Blizzard. The plate armor is still ugly, everyone still hates Azerite, the game is still heavily Horde-biased (character choices and Meat Wagon), and this expansion still feels polished yet half-completed.
Either they have the most amazing crystal ball ever or whatever they were trying to distract us from is something practically none of us even remember so they’re really, really bad at it.
The forum move was necessary. Can already see a great improvement in performance, which is saying nothing of the back-end improvements that have been brought up to help moderation.
I think with everything, somebody can always find something to complain about … it’s all in your perspective. If you’re still playing the game, you obviously have found something to like about it to keep logging in. If you are visiting the new forums, you obviously are finding something you like about it (even if it is complaining).
Remember that today is a perfect day to have a great day! Happy Friday!
Pretty sure they have been planning moving the forums over to the same thing all the other Blizzard games have been using for awhile now. I seriously doubt it has anything at all to do with trying to distract us, and a whole lot more to do with it just being easier for them if all the forums are using the same layout.
Perspective is a strange thing. The owner of the marina I work at asked me why I was doing what I was doing. The answer was because my boss told me to, but i walked the owner through the conversation my boss and I had about it. He told me that was just excuses, but in our minds, it was the reason. The only difference was perspective. People can see the same thing in different ways, especially if they have an agenda.
They migrated posts from the last 2 weeks, so those are still open for comment here. The older posts are archived. This move has been in the works since well before BfA launched.
Do you have concerns about specific aspects of gameplay that you are afraid will be distracted from or overlooked? Then for goodness sake, post on that topic, either in an existing thread or making a new one.
Conspiratorial, accusatory posts are not constructive. They just stir up drama, and create exactly the kind of distraction from game issues that you are complaining of.
