I wasn’t, but the majority were concerned with rep grinds, rep locked storyline, artifact power grinds, allied race requirements, pvp, rng, mythic+, legendaries, artifact appearance, challenge mode difficulty between classes. There’s some more I could list like professions, but I think you get the point
I agree Klowdy … But it’s also up to the person to decide how to see and react to what they perceive. I don’t know, I just prefer to look at things in a good light and if I can’t find any good then I just don’t bother with them any more. Are there things I don’t like in the game? Of course! But I choose to just do the things I like, look at the posts that interest me and carry on with my day.
I wouldn’t imagine that forum devs are also WoW devs . . . . . . . . . but people have been clamoring for new forums as well.
The notification system alone is great. Now I can sit here and read all my likes and pretend I have friends.
Gee, too bad you took an arrow to the knee

So many people have reasonable complaints about the game, and it is a serious shame to see that resources were spent on creating an ugly new forum.
It’s not only disappointing. It’s suspicious. Is this Blizzard trying to confuse and distract us? So we don’t complain as much about the game? Or so we focus our criticisms on the forum?
Nice try, Blizzard. The plate armor is still ugly, everyone still hates Azerite, the game is still heavily Horde-biased (character choices and Meat Wagon), and this expansion still feels polished yet half-completed.
I don’t think the new forum is ugly …but it definitely feels more complicated then it needs to be.
Yeah, I’ve been both ways, and it is miserable being negative all of the time. It definitely is up to the viewer to see things in a certain light.

I like it for the most part. Although quoting posts while on mobile has been a challenge.
Oh wow, this new forum is pretty cool, so shiny and different from the last. Maybe it is a distraction, but it’s one I’m enjoying.
Smoke bomb!

BfA didn’t come out that long ago. Stop strawmanning. See above for what we all hated and still hate.
The people that work on the website are likely not the people who work on the games.
Also, can you step back a sec and look at yourself? Something occurs, its not about what you think is important, you rant on the internet about it. According to what you’re saying - nothing can happen but what you personally sanction. Anything unsanctioned, to you, is an intentional distraction.
I’m functioning well. Your argument is?

I’m functioning well. Your argument is?
I disagree - you’re concocting conspiracy theories and projecting malicious intent onto people you know nothing about based on subject matter you’re ignorant of, all without any evidence.
I never said anything about users sanctioning anything.

I never said anything about users sanctioning anything.
Of course you are. Your first sentence is about how Blizzard should allocate their resources. Apparently, they have to allocate them in a way you see fit or else they’re intentionally distracting you. These are your words. Right up there at the top of this page.
Resources for the forums were not taken away from the game. You might want to learn the difference between a web development team and the game developer teams.
I am a web developer and we sell other products as well. We are our own team and only do web development. They don’t pull people from other departments to come help us because it is completely different. I am willing to bet also their web team handles all the games since they all use the same layouts or will all be moving to the new one. They don’t have separate web teams for each game.
To add, game code vs web dev code is completely different. html/css/php/js and others they may use like json etc. Game code I don’t know what they use but languages like C++ could be used.
So please don’t make posts about things you don’t know about to use for your agenda to bash WoW. If you are unhappy then move on.
My post does not comprise a distraction from the very things I am concerned about. Think about it for a moment and realize that when I brought that up, the concerns also re-popped into users minds.
Go figure… even the new forums are a tinfoil hat moment. New format, same posters.
I was not talking about the difference between forum devs and game devs. I was talking about money.
Money is money. I wish Blizz would not just blow its money anywhere. Somebody or somebodies had to be paid to come up with these ugly new forum design bits. And people will have to be paid to answer all the “huh?” and “where?” questions that come with design newness.
My comment still applies. They have a friggin web development team. They are already being paid. What don’t you get? You rather the web team just sit there and twiddle their thumbs while being paid? Good lord people learn how businesses work.
