I thought I saw something on wowhead about new Dracthyr classes in the War Within. Does anyone that has the beta can tell me what new classes Dracthyr have?

They said they would release them sometime in tww, not at the beginning. Beta doesn’t have anything at all because of that

They haven’t announced which classes, but Ion specifically referenced Mage and Warrior. As Direclaw said, it will happen after launch, my guess is 11.0.7 and we’ll also get Dracthyr and Pandaren Heritage.

Well we know for sure:
Warrior
Rogue
Mage
Priest
Hunter
Warlock
Monk
Those are the “all races” classes.
The big questions are: shaman, druid, DK, and druid.
I could see shaman but otherwise I don’t see the rest happening yet. I can cope for druid though…

I think Shaman and Druid are both on the table just because Dracthyr are empowered by all 5 flights essentially. The Black Dragonflight aligns with Shamanism (Thrall was a placeholder for a Black Aspect in Cata) and the Green Dragonflight are the ones responsible for the protection of the Emerald Dream.

The main thing making me hesitant on druid is that they need to make different forms for the shape shifting.
Maybe that’s why gotta wait though, cope?

Flight Form would be kind of weird to have as a Dracthyr too.
“Yes, hello, I am a Dracthyr Druid. I am a Dragon person but I rather fly around as a birb.”
I can see it going either way, just got to wait and see.

What if they just make your dracthyr form your shapeshift form for everything xD. Lazy but also kinda cool.

Not possible sadly since they were still in stasis when the DH start zone happens.
Until they figure out how to make new demon hunters with out Illidork there wont be new demon hunters.
