What is the problem. Im a DK and im doing the dishes 1st line so I can ride it on this guy. Why you hating???
As someone thatâs mained the class since the original release of Wrath back in 2008, thatâs what sets apart the good DKs from the terrible ones. I canât even begin to tell you how many times Iâve seen folks with a kill secured and imminent in PvP, then death noob comes along, grips them, and puts the person in a better spot to escape or survive.
Bonus points if itâs WSG/TP, the target is a flag carrier, and they bring the almost dead player in range of the healers trying to save them.
And while itâs less of a problem nowadays, there was nothing more infuriating as a tank than a DK using their grip on a mob youâre trying to tank since it also acted as a taunt, getting themselves killed if they timed it just right with a big attack from said mob, then blaming YOU for not holding aggro

This. If anything i feel im able to better curate my ramps runs, havent had a dungeon group with more than 2 dks on classic. As i recall, it was easily 3+ dks on the regular before and after dungeon finder.

Someone is angry that people can now earn and get the cool frostbrood proto drake (for retail) just by doing the DK starting zone and get the mount for free just for participation in wrath classic and after the slime cat incident they (blizzard) needed something to rectify the situation.
Such terrible bait.
How do you get this mount in retail? I have no idea wth the OP is even talking about.

Launch Classic Wrath, do the Death Knight Starter zone to completion, then the mount will appear in your mounts tab in retail. Unless you enjoy Classic, itâs kinda a chore, but the reward (the mount) is really cool.

I did it for the mount only. The DK playstyle isnât what I prefer. I prefer a caster playstyle and have both a lock and a mage. Please get off your high horse with the attitude.
Yâknow, bait or otherwise, I never understood this line of thinking. Who cares if the mount is used by a lot of people - if you keep yourself from using things that you like because others are doing it, youâre putting more focus on being âspecial and uniqueâ rather than your actual enjoyment.
Donât put so much stock in what other people have and how they perceive you. Comparison is the thief of joy.

Unless you play on one of the fresh start realms they removed the level 55 restriction on all other servers.

Ok, so you feel this way about the tree mount too?
Some people just want the mount to add it to their mount collection, lol.
They say new by them. Where it would say low, medium, high, full.

Thatâs it once you turn the quest into Varian or Thrall logout check your mount collection in retail it will show up as a gift box.

You mean as opposed to giving it on a silver platter to people who arenât even willing to log in for an hour or two and havenât played their dk in a decade?
Itâs not exactly playing DK though, like you have buttons that arenât even on retail and youâre mostly just sitting there waiting on runes to recharge.
And the quests take forever.
Actually, I donât quite understand what the point is. To remind us all how much the game used to be really bad so that we appreciate Retail more ?

The point is to generate a spike in participation numbers that will look good on the next quarterly report.
And as a brand new dk, you wouldnât have loads of buttons. They donât start new characters with a full toolkit.
You actually have too many, since you press 3 and are out of runes anyway and just waiting and didnât generate enough Runic for a Death coil.
It actually feels pretty bad to play. On top of the quests that never end.
