New Customization Options for Blood Elves and Void Elves

I go to sleep for hours on end and this is what I come back to.

What did you expect? :stuck_out_tongue:

I expected a good clean wholesome thread devoid of any bickering and hair pulling.

I have a thread dedicated to literally just saying what class you want for what race and somehow people are still having arguments.

GD will never work this way.

This thread doubly so. :stuck_out_tongue:

I think many people agree that we deserve to have unique tattoos and skin colors!

Thereā€™s still cat claws and fur flying tho.

Even though we didnā€™t do this style of overlay, for some reasons Iā€™m having flashbacks to my summer as a Glamour Shots photographer

This is another place where there was a race, High Elves, in the game which hadnā€™t really been represented on player characters.

High elves are a race.

Blood Elves were the closest, but had felt green eyes.

Blood elves are not high elves. They had fel green eyes.

It was an opportunity where we had a number of elven races, and we could tie it back to their roots, letting players choose where they want to align and what fantasy to play out.

High elf customization for all.

We did have a lot of discussion about it, ultimately we might do more in the future, but for now weā€™re providing the option to have a few High Elf customizations available.

So, high elf customization. End of discussion for those who insist Blizzard never said they were allowing high elves for us.

I just donā€™t want void themes, none if the high elf characters I want to rp would dabble in it, so wayfarer lore isnā€™t that appealing to me.

I disagree that light themes are exclusively BE, just as I disagree with the notion that only void elves should get Ranger tattoos because of Alleria. Especially since the initial belf theme was coercion of light and not every belf has abandoned that view, nor has every belf turned to the light. Themes can be shared, and should be when races are so closely connected.

Iā€™m out of likes, but Fezzy is right. War never changes.

I mean I literally just posted a few minutes ago.

I disagree especially while one side has two visual themes and the other does not.

Had not scrolled down that far yet.

So Both sides have High Elves now.

Also, ā€œanti-BEā€ rhetoric was not what I was expecting from July 2020 but here we are. Iā€™d say the tables have turned but they really havenā€™t.

Iā€™d argue that void elves havenā€™t gained a visual theme, but found a way to tone down the one they already had. The hair styles/colors still have a goth vibe after all, and theyā€™ll still bleed purple blood and become voided in combat

Doesnā€™t mean BEā€™s shouldnā€™t get more though.

void elves already have two visual themes! we must have our own unique theme that sets us apart! the sunwell radiates light! We should be able to have lightforged colors to have a thematic difference with void elves!

Why would you call it anti BE rhetoric? And why are you so quick to seem excited about anti BE rhetoric?
