New Customization Options for Blood Elves and Void Elves

Oh so people wants light forged elves? I do too… along with light forged humans, dwarves, and gnomes as lf customization sub-races! Har har har…

Seriously though, ranger tats cool, but lf tats isn’t a be thing in my opinion. Yellow ranger tats is fine though. But not golden holy light yellowish.

i asked this same thing about naaru. why dont naaru, and by virtue of the same data, void elves, go kablaam, when holy light meets void.

I feel we need an illustration on how they transform for us to understand it. We just see light and void Nauru but never them change between them visually.

A Light Naaru becomes a Void Naaru by slowly losing it’s Light over time.

so how come my void elf can cast holy spells and not launch into orbit. hehe

I was thinking… Regarding Void Elves now, how cool it would be if Entopic Embrace was just a proc with a trinket-esque visual (e.g. not too visually impactful), and we could actually swap in and out the Void Form at will, just like Worgen do with their forms?

I’m still trying to figure out why they added in alpha a “secondary skin” for velves, if entropic embrace works just fine the way it is on live. :thinking:

Gameplay

That what is said, but what does the transformation look like? How does the Nauru continue to operate with one side of magic being weak during the transformation?

yeah been asking for this for awhile.

Worgen form is auto triggered when entering combat, they do not get the choice to fight in human form. So in essence void elves should also have no choice but to go voidy in combat as well.

which means void elf paladins could happen? not that i’m totally sold on the idea, but if holy pallies turn out to be good in shadowlands and i’m velfing, then i’d feel pressured to not velf.

more like shadowpriest shadowform.

Oh, I know that, but I meant is as a toggleable spell, just like they have to change between forms.

Forsaken are also a pretty good example. The class halls are an indication that all specializations exist and are canon, and unless told otherwise we shouldn’t just assume anything. Saying Void Elf holy priests aren’t canon is silly.

^^ I mean look at this beautiful Void Elf in holy form. Void Elf paladins would be a wonderful addition! :slight_smile:

Shadow priests are a thing dude,

Says anyone who has an understanding of programming and understand you cannot lock a spec out with the current architecture.

What people think =/= what the devs have said. Two different things dude.

Because the devs said light and void = explosion.
Void elves = void
Paladins = light
So its not possible.

This made absolutely no sense whatsoever and was uttered by you thinking it would be smart and witty. It wasn’t

I dont see any void elves in them mate.

carefully, and probably with a lot of pain involved, similar to what undead holy priests deal with in order to cast holy spells.

Well, unless they come up with another Paladin lore for Void Elves. Holy doesn’t necessarily have to mean Light.

They already have precedent with other situations like Kul Tiran druids. Of course, a VE paladin would mostly need custom spell skins or something like that to be fully realized.

i’m a void elf priest. granted currently shadow spec, but can also spec holy and cast the full spectrum of holy light spells. :grin:

It literally does…

KT druids were explained, and no to void elf paladins.
Paladin = light class.
Not making an exception for void elves, unless you’re aiming for a literal copy pste, why bother playing a blood elf?

Went over this, im tired of repeating myself.
