For context, I had Somand make a mockup using Alleriaâs ranger tat across my right eye and some scars across the left with Dark Ranger customizations to see how itâd all look.
And itâs exactly how it looks in my head.
Basically thereâs no real reason why any of this stuff couldnât come to Blood Elves.

I wonder, now that all the races got through a first round of customization options, if they are going to add retroactive stuff like the regular skin colors for Void Elves in the next alpha build⊠
Do you guys are waiting for any âbigâ reveal regarding customization features in july 9th? Big as in, more drastic things, like straight posture for hunched races, dark ranger options for belves, Thinhuman for Kul Tirans, etc?

At this point just hoping they make the option for Blood Elves to be more Dark and Gritty like they used to be.
Also those Runes on the walls would be sick as a customization option.

Iâm surprised that Blood Elves didnât get (yet) runic tattoo options. A lot of blood elf concept art and official artworks feature them with such markings. INCLUDING Kaelâthas in BC cover box lol.
I honestly think tattoos or body paints should be a basic feature for every race.
Edit: One of my gripes with the options that Belves got so far is that they just scream Silvermoon Aristocracy, when the culture itself features more dire aspects, such as the Farstriders, that as far (no pun!) as I remember in lore, still try to stray away from the city vapid elves.

They have runes on the official Blood Elf Artworks and Runestones and the like have been a concept forever.
They bent over backwards to let Night Elves look like the box art
They could very well do the same for Blood Elves.

I really hope Blizzard raise the moon headdress just an inch higher. The eyebrows really block it.
Iâve never played Warcraft before, but all the depictions of Blood Elves I see in it are so cool. They look badass, and I wish Blizzard would try to make them more like that in WoW. What theyâre like now is kind of lame, ngl.

iâm of the opinion that they need to either lean in one way or the other, if they are giving us pretty elves, then give us the most gosh darn gorgeous elves imaginable, gives us multi-colored hair options, makeup options for both genders (cuz nothing screams fabulously edgy like guyliner) more over the top hair and beard options, the kinda stuff that looks like it takes hours to style and will create holes in the azeroth atmosphere every time they are re-done.
if not, give us the dark and gritty elves, with scars and tattoos and burning sigils.
(I mean ideally iâd like both options, but if they are going to go one way or another I want them to COMMIT to that style)
