Uhuh. Fel came about because of Light and Void reacting. Yes.
Light and Void are still two parts of a coin.
The Naaru Light and Void duality I do not think we’ve had fully explained. Further on a base level it shows that Light and Void can exist in some sort of capacity within one another. They do not have to destroy each other. They’re clearly prone to it though.
the analogy in this case would be one side of the coin is fel, and the other side is light and void, kept from becoming fel in the case of a dark naaru, the light is annihilated till its just void. its not mutual destruction, so no fel is created.
i just thought it odd that it says their constant annihilating of each other in the twisting nether, is how everything else is created, including other forms of magic. but thats not true for naaru. naaru, pure light, converts to pure void and no fel, lifeforms or other forms of magic appear to be created in the process.
probably havent discussed it in lore, cause its not really important unless it has a plot point to uphold.
no… the other side of the Fel coin is Arcane… Chaos and Order.
Light and Void are the same coin.
its an analogy about void and light, co-existing and not becoming fel via mutual annihilation. wasnt referring to the cosmology, specifically. abstract commentary mostly. thinking outloud.
a naaru is such a coin. it can hold void within its light body long enough to flip to void without melting down into fel.
Honestly , sooner than we think man . There are ogre empires out there who are intelligent as seen in TBC. Us dealing with the ethereals a lot currently will open that up most likely .
Indeed, those are almost what I´d like to see implemented (only change I´d make would be the subtle “magical” coloration over the runic tatoos / scarifications combo.
Fembelves need a really long hair option -most haircuts are quite short all things considered-.
It´s both good and bad you know (good because this way they don´t get additional lore humiliation like the Sunreavers got, nor Alliance-fication like the Blood Knights got; but bad because one doesn´t have a good lore basis for RP purposes).
Fuzzy, give up. Hyper is clearly NOT interested in discussing anything but only in promoting her headcanon as WoG.
Don´t waste more time…
A really long hair option would be fantastic! More than one would be even better!
Don’t bother homie, she’s decided her headcanon is correct even after I provided primary sources that shows it’s wrong. She didn’t even know the basics of Sargeras turning on the titans.
lol i wasnt referring to the cosmology when we were discussing the coin. i was talking about if void and light annihilate each other, how does a naaru have both going on at the same time when it transistions from light to void without decomposing into fel.
Because first of all it’s not just fel that was created by the conflict between light and shadow, everything was including arcane, life and death. Secondly those magics were created when light and shadow met on a cosmic scale. Having a void elf and a Lightforged shake hands won’t create little puddles of magic.
Light and void don’t intrinsically make fel.
Chaotic energies make fel.
Naaru are both light and void… Cause light and void are two sides of a coin.
yeah i know fel is not the only thing thats created. i’d say a naaru turning into a void god is more of a cosmic scale type of incident.
when light and void meet, they annilhilate each other which creates byproducts, one of which is fel, except where a naaru is concerned…and a void elf priest haha
Well it’s not because as we’ve seen it’s just a natural part of their lifecycle and multiple dark naaru get taken down by small groups of mortal adventurers.
Naaru are insignificant compared to a Void Lord.
What I want to know is, are there higher beings/entities above naaru on the light side.
Definite room for exploration there, unless I am missing something.
You’d have to assume there are, people mention the Light speaking to them all the time.
Void gods are the most powerful type of void creature yet encountered. They are gigantic and, unlike void lords, wear no armor. The first, encountered by adventurers in the Sunwell, was born from a dying naaru named M’uru, and some parts of the naaru’s form are still visible. A second was born of the alternate timeline’s K’ure
That’s even remotely true. Where do you get this stuff?
Void Lords > Old Gods > Dark Naaru
