It is an interesting route for sure. Mine will be my Warlock. Who harbors loyalist sentiments. But the inclusion of Velonara makes for an extremely interesting storyline of the DR types who feel betrayed. Which is why I think had it been a hero class, the expansion we go after Sylvanas into the Shadowlands would have been it, but they are doing the customization route this expansion.
And the Darkfallen theme to BEs would fit the customization stance they are embodying this expansion. And then yeah people can stick to hunter or do other classes as their player choice and agency from Blizzard allows.
Should it be added I will look forward to seeing your DR hunter alt post on the forums some day!

Dark ranger is just a specific type of ranger, definitely not enough to become its own class. I keep saying dark ranger skins would work well as a class-specific customization option, it ain’t a new concept.
Not sure if dark rangers with blood elf racials is lore friendly or not, but thats probably as good as it would get without allowing multiple models for the forsaken

They do. I don’t know why they didn’t write the story in a way to include more races in the first place.
The legion is attacking, Illidan comes back and trains those willing to learn. Preferably without the creepy xera fanfiction storyline.
Well it’s just like DKs they had to start the foundation. Now they just need to tack on the rest.
Make DH also for Orc and Draenei.
Arcane rogues… Eh I could see them teaching new races now. Horde has several now with Sira and the few others we see. Both sides can learn this one.
I think there’s a Tortollan blood mage too so this isn’t restricted.
Now is the time to add the option.
Nightborne, blood elf, and probably void elf and maybe night elf (with some explanation of Shen’dralar bringing this one too?) could come to play and easily teach other races.
I kinda want those orcish mages guarding the mage portal room to turn out to be spellbreakers.
Prefer an AR for this one but they could feasably add this now.

Except trolls kept around Zul’jin, the Sandfury, the Hakkari, the Witherbark, the Gurubashi, and the rest of the Amani, who are all basically turbojerks.
tbh I think I agree that with Lydon that if they happen they should be Forsaken.
The only arguments against them being part of the undead race are meta arguments. Every lore argument leans more towards them being included.

I was hoping we’d see Human/Draenei and Orc/Nightborne Demon Hunters or something, although the threat demons pose post-Legion isn’t exactly demanding more DHs.
Orc priests and druids and Darkspear paladins (if Zandalari can do it Darkspear should too) have been on my wishlist for a while.
