New Customization Options for Blood Elves and Void Elves

As sugoi as the tint is, it’s pretty tame by WoW hair tint standards.

Just look at trolls.

I didn’t say that you were complaining about them, you just keep saying that Void Elves have tendril hair. They have tendril hair, but they also have non-tendril hair.

The thing I said you were complaining about was not being able to look “normal” on a void elf. Which, if it wasn’t what you were doing, it sure seemed that way.

Cattering to the devs gets no positive answer, they just use it as ammo to justify themselves to the people when asked about stuff.

People buying into 2018´s Blizzcon BS only got us the scheduled Sylvanas + Horde villain batting. At least “negative” feedback makes the executives in charge demand actual quality control in their subjects and employees.

That´s the thing with ISO 9001. You extract the growth oportunities NOT from “yes, man” arguments, but actually FROM THE COMPLAINS. Cause it´s only when a customer saying “I think this is not a good process/product/etc” when a company sees where and/or when they are failing on their global process and the organization goals.

Nobody here is saying any falsehood about Velves getting everything done already. We are saying they are getting privileged because they got artwork done BEFORE their scheduled time, which is true.

And we asking to be delivered more concrete evidence of the suposed “being done right now” Belf artwork is no sin, as much as it is no sin to call things ugly / non appropiate / a vehicle for trashy detrimental tropes when they are. I´m tired of trying to explain to people refusing to listen why ALL feedback is CRUCIAL, not only the “yes man” supposedly positive one (newflash people, there´s no thing in existence called as “positive/negative” feedback, there´s only “complete / incomplete” feedback).

If any attitude is aggravating that is the one done by the posters making a storm out of a cup of water cause we Belf players are asking for stuff to BLIZZARD EMPLOYEES. It´s the most hypocritical and ironic stance ever when some Helfer that defended his borderline psycho attitude of spamming the forums asking for something after already getting some form of it (cause guess what? what was delivered, A.K.A. THE FREAKING VELVES weren´t what they wanted AS CUSTOMERS to fulfill their Helfer dream) comes here to call us “ungrateful brats” for not blindly approving the work shown by Blizz as of now. Indeed a pot calling a kettle black, I at least can proudly say I didn´t act like a colicky baby for TWO freaking YEARS at the least just to end up channeling the most hardcore anti and calling for the silencing of other posters.

tbf they’ve received most of what people requested.

This is a very well done thread request for the orcs another core race, I hope Blizzard sees it and it gains more traction.

What can or cannot be something went out the window when Wildhammer, Sand/Dark Trolls and High Elves were revealed.

There is no longer any excuse to hold back anything.

I wish Night Elves could be Paladins. With all the options added so far, I’d level one in a heart beat.

A lot of the Night Elf tattoos would even look decent for High/Void Elves. They would just need to be different colors.

Still hoping we get Farstrider Tattoos and War paint though.

I’ll disagree. While the playable blood elves are meant to be living, with Sylvanas’ reign over and the dark rangers considering themselves part of the Forsaken and the Sin’dorei, opening the fantasy of playing an undead elf as part of the blood elves is pretty much reasonable.

Also, “rangers” aren’t just hunters. The ranger corps is a military branch of multiple skills, and a ranger can be represented by rogues, hunters, warriors or any other martial-oriented characters.

Also, if someone decides to be a priest, mage or something else, they can handwave it as being an undead from those professions instead.

Depending on how red eyes are implemented, there could even be variants with pupil that could justify living blood elves studying other sorts of magic.

And I’d love to see some orange eyes to represent fire magic as well.

This is my stance as well.

Orange eyes for fire magic would be awesome!

Blue for arcane look. Purple also for a mage look. Red could also be for RPing as maybe a warlock too. Brown would go well for a warrior look. Silver would also go well with playing a Paladin.

Blizzard, just unlock the rainbow with our eyes!

Void Elves could get a green too with no glow.

I think green is too iconic for blood elves to available for void elves.
But I’d gladly accept the new purple eyes (with pupils) that high elf NPCs have.

(Blood elves should have those as well)

Yeah, i also am not losing ANY sleep over the green eyes! Horde can keep those

If anyone was actually losing any sleep over pixel elves, they need to quit wow immediately.

It was a figure of speech, chill lol.

I would LOVE that but only if they get silver/purple moonlight as their effects and a glyph that would allow normal light colors (if people still liked the normal way)

Here’s a quick mockup I threw together. Something kinda like this?
I might’ve made them look to glowy by mistake though.
Also, please ignore the hair style. This is meant to show hypothetical eye colour only.

I was speaking hypothetically.

I’m sorry what? “Standard Blood Elf” IS the Arcane one which you call “purified”, and light themed Blood Elf is as new as TBC’s restoration of the Sunwell.

Unless you’re trying to imply that the Blood Elves were corrupted then purified, which would be a straight up lie, as they only were exposed to fel, not infuse with it nor mutated by it in the way Void Elves were with the void.

Also eye colors don’t change any of that, because even during and before Warcraft 3, High Elves canonically had green, blue and grey eyes, so there as never any difference between what you call “standard BE” and “High Elf” theme, because the Blood Elves always had the High Elves theme. To claim otherwise is either misinformed or head canon.
