What you were basically saying that only a few people want them so they shouldn’t be playable. Which is untrue for starters.
When I posted this thread it got a lot of support. Most people even if they didn’t necessarily want the race itself were very supportive of gilgoblins being playable. it is also important to keep in mind that gilgoblins only existed in their much better version this expansion. Other races have been around for much longer so of courses they will be requested more.
femininity is not vanity. i refuse as a female of the species to be ashamed of my natural proclivity towards things of beauty. i realize this is a war game but its also an rpg and it allows people of all types, to play it with some modicum of representation

i think its cute as heck. loved all the work you did on gilgoblins. you’re a dedicated fan of the short races and of the game.

I’d love to see you guys get what you’re asking for.
They only removed the ability to get the old lowbie items that were removed from the game. You can still get the class set for the character you’re on from the crates.
So in the case of a mage you’ll get all the pieces of the Mountainsage set. To get that staff (Communal Staff) you’ll need to open crates on a priest and only priests can transmog it so you won’t be able to mog it as a mage.
Also of note there are two versions of the Communal Staff. One is the more common yellow which actually CAN be mogged by anyone (I think all the starter weapons are free range mogs now), but the purple version is still class restricted.
maybe you need to spec shadow priest for the silver/purple version? see the shoulders of my mog? you can only get the purple version if you’re specced shadowpriest.

The developers have stated that chronicles is canon and if there is a conflict between previous lore and chronicles to go with chronicles.

Being shadow isn’t required. I got all the Communal mogs back in WoD as a Holy priest.
With that said, there is a non-priest specific version of the purple staff in the game files but it doesn’t seem available to players at the moment.

Logic would indicate you’d unlock that staff by making a Class Trial Shadow Priest but you don’t have the option to do that. Class Trial Priests are forced to start as Discipline and they get the yellow staff.
ah perhaps that will be a new option with shadowlands, starting as whatever spec.

I haven’t seen any of this happening. As someone else said, I’ve seen pushback on people complaining about themes. But all of the pro’s I’ve seen seem to want dark rangers to be playable and San’layn.
yeah i like silver options. gold is nice too. but silver goes really good with mage colors and velf color theme. its usually a cool color vs gold which is typically a warm color. most mage gear with mage colors have gold accents though, so silver is a treat.

i wonder if the felblood elves being created in that cave off darkmoon isle, was originally gonna be an allied race, then they decided to go with void elves instead . just seems odd, theres a cave under the ocean with felblood elves being created, similar to the whole void elf vibe
Boosting characters gives some of the mogs from the salvage yard, including the weapon mogs of the spec you choose I believe.
This staff is my favorite.
I wish it weren’t druid only, and an npc has a purple version that I also want.
