As well as the one that has been in this thread saying blood elves should get red eyes, more hair options shared from other races and their own tattoos.

Because, unlike you, I’ve been focusing on positive discussion on where things should go next.

I think it is important for Blizzard to remember BE’s during this core race customization period as well, especially when our actual options only end up getting shared, and or just are lack luster. Though I personally liked the male jewelry I hear it is gone now and I am sad about it.

To each their own, but god, I´d truly HATE to get that excuse for jewerly (no seriously, even the Human´s piercings look better) over stuff I´d actually want.

Err… I´ve been EXTREMELY specific regarding what I want? Maybe you should go back into the thread and look? (no seriously, it´s basically TWO things -runic tatoos and scars- and a “once upon a dream but I freaking doubt it will ever happen” third -A.K.A. two colored hair similar to irl Balayage hairstyles-.

I´m a simple woman, give me my basic stuff and I´ll consider myself a satisfied customer.

“Ew, as someone who has mained Nelves for years, I hate the new options. Low poly leaves and a few new hairstyles and eye/skin colors? Not my cup of tea…I wear helmets anyways, those leaves aren’t even gonna be seen. When are Nelves gonna get as much good stuff as all the other races are getting? We already had the Druidism theme, I want a second theme…give us Highborne jewlery and hairstyles!”

Not the way to appeal to the Dev’s being demanding and ungrateful isn’t an effective way to get stuff you want in life, in any situation.

Said who? When did they say this was the last time they’d ever add new stuff for the core races?

Also they already started adding some new Nightborne stuff that’s been datamined so clearly they are breaking their “rules”. Just like they broke the statement of them saying “Belves will never get blue eyes”.

You can’t really take what they say too literally, as plans change all the time.

Saying “these jewleries are horrible and ugly and nobody likes them, Blizzard hates Belves and hasn’t given us any new stuff, please remove them and give us actual good stuff!” is indeed walking a fine line between whining and constructive criticism.

You also don’t need to ask for them to REMOVE options they made for you when you can just ask for MORE options. Seriously, anyone saying they should “Remove” the jewlery options (@ Ariel) like…why on earth should they remove assets they spent time on?

but it’s really annoying seeing people say “Blood Elfs haven’t gotten anything compared to other races” when they HAVE literally gotten a lot of stuff, objectively.

I think is not that they got less, but they got boring stuff in my opinion. Where’s the san’layn/dark ranger stuff? Tattoos? Body jewelry and bracers barely count as customizations options because some people like wearing armour

Personally, I think the actual point of contention for most of the vocal Belf posters in this threas is “The jewerly”. As far as I have seen here and in wowhead, most of us hated it. And hated it more after looking at the actual sensible and NEW Nelf jewerly (that omg, is freaking AMAZING!!!). And the fact we haven´t got any indication Belf models are gonna get tatoos or scars or actual decent sensible jewerly that doesn´t scream “Jersey Shore trope” is making us VERY nervous.

Yes, Nelves at the start got almost nothing datamined. But this worked in their favor cause you people at least got pretty good stuff. I personally I´m VERY worried devs are gonna use the pathetic jewerly as an excuse to do nothing else.

I mean, I want them too (I wanna level a Nelf/Highborne mage…), but I wouldn’t complain about the stuff we already GOT, claim it was “bad” and “not enough”, and then proceed to demand stuff that I like.

I’d just say “These new options for Night Elves are super cool, although they aren’t my cup of tea! Thank you for the cool new stuff, I’m sure other people will love it! Could you also add X, Y, and Z maybe? I know I’d really enjoy having Highborne options in the game! Cheers!”

It’s more about the attitude/delivery of the “requests” right now that’s bothering me.

Yeah and you also pay money to go out to eat but that doesn’t mean you should talk rudely/demanding to the waiter or chef in the restaurant.

Because the people servicing you are people too, who put in time and effort into stuff, and it’s much easier to make them sympathetic to your wants/needs when you’re nice about it and not bratty and entitled.
