I’ve punked him before. Was RP traveling between Silvermoon and lights hope and I was like, (BRB) flew over and holy shocked his face.

I might be wrong, but I dont think he was killable by the Horde in vanilla either, only the guards were flagged because they held a quest item, but he and Aurora could not be targeted and even had dialogue for horde players. But again, I could be wrong as this was before blood elves were added.

I got the same stuff on WoWhead Classic. He was a killable rarespawn for Horde, and friendly to Alliance in Vanilla.

Oh, I´m sorry I brought a delicate issue regarding your health, unfortunately, we must be realistic and as long as the cretins writting the lore stay in power, the chance of DR getting multiple villain battings regardless of the flavor text said by Velonara is quite high.
Maybe hope for the best bhut DO expect the worst, idk? If worst case scenario does happen and after getting the DR skin we Hordies get a new round of villain batting but now over 2 races (Belves and Forsaken) I don´t think people would balance positively the whole Belf round of customizations.
And scars. Frankly the positively useless AND ugly jewerly (such a bad taste jewerly those bead ornaments were tbqh) imho sends a very negative connotation regarding the Belf race, specifically by proxy of portraying them as people SO ridiculously vain and superficial (compare the nature and the even “tragic” oriented Nelf customizations that DO convey a very nice lore background) that they WILL put on stuff that would actually help an enemy to immobilize the elf, but ofc a Belf only cares and worries about stuff like “looking extravagant”, pffff. The thing is so grating and annoying that even the male models HAD THE VERY SAME FREAKING JEWERLY THAN THE FEMALE MODEL, A.K.A. “lolololol there are no males in the Belf race, just two type of females lolololol”.
I´m crossing my fingers devs will throw in the trash where it does belong those amazingly hideous “jewerly” options and we will get our runic tatoos and our scars. I want for my two Belves to show in the flesh the suffering they had been carrying and slowly working to heal about for more than a decade in-universe.

Yeah, I’m trying to be positive but like you said, at the same time I expect the worse. I’m kind of used to playing games where the characters I like, play, or the races I enjoy get the shaft. It’s a running theme with me, I swear. I like a character, they then die, switch to the dark side, or we never see a new update on them for decades. Yeah, I expect villain batting. It’s not new.
I am totally with you on the jewelry! When I when I mentioned how we Belf players were lacking in quality customization on the datamining stream I was told that blood elves have enough, they don’t need anymore and that I am selfish for asking for more. >_> Thankfully, someone stepped in and stuck up for me. I’m thankful for whoever that was.

Hopefully our requests for Blood Elves are heard, and if not we just have to make sure we keep asking and don’t let others try to shoot our requests down

To be fair I have one male elf who would use the gaudy jewelry.
I have two females who would—they’re older teenagers.
The other 77 characters I have wouldn’t touch it with a ten foot pole.
I have no objection to a method of crossing the faction barrier through some sort of “defection” system that lets you switch sides, but I can’t imagine Blizzard ever outright removing the faction divide. Too much of the game’s premise and systems are built around it.
Irrelevant man, the comparison is either the Draenei or more properly, the Nelves; High elves as a separate playable race by such name don´t exist and Velves are an AR so kindly accept the PRIVILEGE you were given over the rest of AR.
Also, you mentioning “blinded eyes” (who everybody and their mother are getting), 3 new hairstyles (who again, everybody and their mother are getting), “jewerly” (who again, everybody got, plus actual nice jewerly that is a novelty like the piercings for Humans or the Nelf jewerly; not christmas bead ornaments that will 9 out of 10 times be hidden cause it´s a pain to match them with tmogs; and frankly I doubt the legitimacy of people saying “they like them”), new skin tones (who every pink skinned race got including the gnomes AND the Velves who didn´t even had the pink sking by starters), 3 beards (who guess what? again, got by everybody and their freaking mother) actually “mathematically” puts the Belves FAR BELOW most the other races devs have been wortking on and implementing on alpha as of now.
You know what man, apply what you preach and just don´t comment anything else regarding a race you clearly don´t care about, period. If only not to look like an hypocritical jerk.
They got a freaking “skip the line and get some stuff NOW” ticket; their delusions over Velves getting MORE work done before the actual core race is truly facepalm worthy. And a perfect example to prove the “they will continue to ask for more and more stuff and never stop like the selfish children they are” anti-helfer arguments.
Then pray tell why are you wasting our time acting like a douche and subtly trying to imply we should " accept the TON of stuff, shut up and move on"?
If you don´t care, then leave the issue alone, pull and Elsa and L E T I T G O. Blizzard will NOT implement stuff for Velves in accordance to Belf posters but in actual accordance to their freaking Schedule, period.

That´s an entirely too nice name for the actual abomination the devs tried to sell. I´ll repeat ad nauseaum if I have to: christmas bead ornaments, so much they hanged from the Belves like the irl ones hang from the tree´s branches (with a cute U shape and all).
Look dear, I´ve been present in this forums for basically 9 years now. And every time a “maybe more customization for races” thread appeared in here, I put on my 2 cents regarding my tatoos and my scars. The fact some of us Belf posters didn´t act like a colicky baby back then and obssesively “demanded” nonstop for the stuff -and actually, like adults, waited for Blizz to actually make the move and start the new customization options to start massively and continuously giving feedback- doesn´t mean we don´t want the stuff NOW, when Blizz ACTUALLY is looking at feedback.
Leave the entitlement at the door, this thread is for both BLOOD and VOID elf customization.
And also saved their lives by proxy of solving the “filled with damaging necrotic energies Sunwell” issue and gave them the actual pep-talk to freaking move on after the catastrophe they survived.
Lor´themar is merely one half of TFT / BotH Kael´thas characterization (guess who is the other half? yup, Rommath is it).
Who are written using the PoV of titans -who I doubt care too much over reality and more about their biased perception-. Use actual Belf lore written with Belf characters as PoV to get a more accurate image.
Devs should actually bite the bullet and make that useless fanservice disgrace roll Alliance like they should have since the very beginning. Valeera has been incredibly IRRELEVANT in both the Horde AND Belf narrative (to the point the only time we Hordies got to interact with her was to make connections with ALLIANCE leaders /rofl). Heck, the gal is SO irrelevant she just got to exist to represent the hot female fem elf in love with the big bad human hero trope, no more and no less.
As a rogue main player, I felt 200% more rogueish traits in Lorash or Noggenfogger than on any of the clowns put on the “Hall of Shadows”.

Ikr I love the silver moon circlet females got, I hope Velves and Belves get some sort of circlets/crowns too eventually 
They really make characters look way more detailed and fleshed out when you start stacking on jewelry/accessories/scars etc.
I also hope all the new Nelf scars become available for other races too!

As if I were accusing you or any one person of anything. I’m talking about the collective. Like it or not, the general blood elf requests here all these years, the ones that got traction, were for things like “black/brown hair options” (they got it), blue and golden eyes (they got it). Aside from it, high elf threads were the ones to mostly ask for dark skin (blood elves got it) and ear size selection for half-elves (blood elves got it). I think the only common-ish requests that was not fulfilled yet are the dark ranger options and farstrider/mage tattoos.
And I’m in favor of blood elf players asking for what they want. That’s exactly what they should be doing.
You want red eyes? I support it and double down asking for orange eyes as well.
You want tattoos? Go for it, I’ll happily upvote the request.
You want scars? I’m pretty sure, after seeing how good yet simple are the night elf ones, that they will come for many more races, including blood elves.
What’s really bothersome is people saying that blood elves got shafted. They didn’t, Blizzard’s direction with them was exactly to give them the most common requests.
If you don’t agree with those requests, that’s your opinion. Doesn’t change the fact that the things that were mostly asked for were given.
As if I were denying anyone the right to ask for anything here.
But if anyone comes to complain or pretend that blood elves didn’t get nice things, others have every right to criticize.

Yeah, going to be honest.
- Not impressed with the blue eyes and didn’t ask for them. Not every blood elf player asked for blue eyes nor are even remotely interested in them. I sure as heck am not, I’d trade my lichfire eyes on DK for something more interesting in a heartbeat.
- The jewelry does indeed leave so much to be desired. It won’t go with mogs well at all, the ridiculous ‘body jewelry’ is for those that will play naked and that’s pretty much it. The ‘bracelets’ are a sorry excuse for customization entirely. We have bracer mogs, literally bracers, we do not need ‘blood elf exclusive’ gaudy nonsense.
- Comparatively? Indeed, other races got and have been getting so much more interesting items at least from my personal perspective than Blood Elves and I would love to see more, even if it’s a tradeoff. They get some of our hair styles, we get some of theres, rather than the mog-clashing boring nonsense we’ve got already.
I know I’m going to regret posting in here once again, but yes, I would like to see thematically different things for Blood Elves. Orcs a mixture of tribes/styles. Trolls get a mixture of tribes/styles. Now void elves have a duality of themes. Blood Elves? Not only is the general theme and teeth of them generally removed because ‘oh look, the Sunwell is now purified, we’ve got less substance and those that say they don’t belong on the horde now have more ammo’, but the customization options leave much to be desired.
Especially seeing all the love other races are getting.
Sorry, Blood Elf players, at least some of us, have a right to speak up if not satisfied.

My only complain about night elf jewelry is that each setting has very little variation. It’s either the moon circlet or the vine, for instance. Or either the single necklace, a vine on the neck or the choke thing. Would be cool to have a few more options.
I also love the earrings, thought they are hard to see on that image.

Ok I get this, I really do, but it’s really annoying seeing people say “Blood Elfs haven’t gotten anything compared to other races” when they HAVE literally gotten a lot of stuff, objectively.
I wish people would just say “I don’t LIKE what they’ve been given and would like more/different stuff, please”.
I know it’s more a difference in delivery but I feel like it’s helpful to make more people sympathetic to helping you advocate for more stuff.
Imagine if after all the stuff Night Elfs got I said “Ew, as someone who has mained Nelves for years, I hate the new options. Low poly leaves and a few new hairstyles and eye/skin colors? Not my cup of tea…I wear helmets anyways, those leaves aren’t even gonna be seen. When are Nelves gonna get as much good stuff as all the other races are getting? We already had the Druidism theme, I want a second theme…give us Highborne jewlery and hairstyles!”
It just sounds kind of lame, is all. Why can’t we just advocate for MORE stuff for everyone, and give specific suggestions for cool tats/scars/bodymarkings/etc. for Belves without having to whine that “They haven’t gotten hardly any new stuff” when they have

To clarify, I WANT more stuff for Belves. Give them Dark Ranger options, give them arcane markings and Farstrider markings, give them tons of scars, I’d also love them to get circlet/facial jewlery options like Nelves got, etc. And more hairs alwayssss.

I just can’t fathom why pointing out BE’s need additional actual good customizations is so controversial. This thread is about BE’s too, and it only seems to be the posters with no interest in us / dislike BE’s who try to portray our situation as otherwise.
