Playable Dark Trolls confirmed?

It’s the High Definition scowling.

Dun, dun, dun?

Yes, it is!

I’m uploading the troll gallery. They don’t feel as great as the nelves, thought.

I think Somand was asking in regards to my comment about how the bottom nelf girl pic looked a bit trollish.

I’ve always argued where I see fit. I support High Elves but I’m not gonna agree just to agree. And I want to respect the opinions of those who do not want to see them. We’re all equal here, none of us are Blizzard and their concerns are just as important to hear.

I agree. Respect is the better course rather than insults.

I wasn’t going to say it, but you read my mind :innocent:

See, these new Night Elf options look amazing, and their magnitude are more along the lines of what people are hoping for with Blood Elves. Jewellery feels like a ripoff in comparison.

100% agree. I see the Nelf stuff and then look at the Belf stuff and the difference in quality is just staggering.

That 10% are essentially defined for straying from what was considered “High elven” even by Kael’thas’ standards, who often thought of himself as an outsider in his own home for sharing many of the beliefs of those elves who remained with the alliance.

I’d argue the 90% are a more accurate representation of who the High elves were, than the 10% simply because they hadn’t chosen a new name. If the choice to remain on the Alliance is evidence of High elven practice despite all the cultural disparities, than the choice to take on the name “Blood elf” would be considered “High elven” in the same way.

I haven’t seen anything that suggests they joined the Alliance, the only remnants i’ve found remained neutral, even preferring to reside in neutral zones like the Seat of Knowledge in Pandara, and offering quests to Horde and alliance players alike.

I’d agree the Quel’lithien elves are likely the best reflection of traditional high elves, but its important to remember that they, like other similarly rooted high elves preferred to live in isolation, and in this case did not even join the Alliance after their exile, and instead preferred to remain independent. Although in the end, even they proved no better than the Blood elves themselves after falling to the seduction for power.

I think the individuals I’m referring to misunderstood the request for high elves themselves, often mistaking themes found among Blood elves as “rightful” property of Alliance high elves simply because of their name. Thankfully many members of the pro-community have recognized the difference, but I still encounter these misconceptions to this day.

It’s this reason I was originally dragged into this debate, as I really have no horse in this race as someone who plays alliance with her boyfriend, and the Blood elves to satisfy my love for elven lore. Nothing frustrated me more than people telling me that the Blood elves had no right to very themes the race was designed to represent.

Sometimes that stuff happens.

The most famous Blood Elf assassin is Alliance side.

Some people don’t think so…

Just like there’s a few bad apples in the anti group, but for the most part most of them are great. Same with the pro side, we definitely have some trouble makers, but most are just happy to advocate for more player choice.
