New Customization Options for Blood Elves and Void Elves

I love all this, the only other thing I would ask for is void elf hair given to belfs and vice versa.

This makes me happier than it rationally ought to.

Now just hmu with an Alpha invite and we be sweet

Void elves are a specific species now, they mutated, they’re different. But you are still hitting on the main point: I do want some sort of story reason for why they’re where they are. It’s rather different for Wildhammer and Farraki, they’re old. Void elves are something new. So are the remaining Alliance-aligned high elves flocking to their banner since Alleria’s there? Are they still technically high elves despite identifying as part of the void elf faction? Should the UI reflect this?

My answer would be yes, were I making the decisions. Successful theming is about details. That’s what pulls it all together.

Not the first time in Shadowlands development that I’ve been concerned about fantasy/theming potentially getting diluted in this way.

Ty Blizz ! Im so excited!

While you are at it… can Blood Elves get more facial hair options? Like, more moustaches.

This is cool and all, but, give velf’s paladin class and also make them more different from belf’s, I mean if both factions will have blue eyes, then give velf’s tattoo options just like Allera has, I mean If you want more happy people with this good change, just give something that will make them different, you can give belf’s the body jewelry and velf’s tattoo’s

Finally I can make a Drow. If only I could have purple eyes to complete the Drizzt Do’Urden look. And I still think an animated void texture for Void Elf eyes would be nice, but I’ll be happy to not have those milky white ones at least. Thanks Blizz.

I do ask, some of us do not like entropic embrace, and especially after the visual corruption, is there a way we can get the option to turn that visual off? Or at least mute it?

Looking at the models I think it’s fair, however, I think the dark skinned models should be really black and not brown. I think it’d be something you could add to the BElf appearance so we could change our skin tones so we don’t look just like who we’re fighting and it’d promote the evil elf fantasy. Just my thoughts.

Great, now give Velfs the Belf hairstyles while you’re at it, the male Void elf hairstyles are godawful.

Yes please.

I found the next one for you. It’s probably how most of us look when staring at Tuesday’s loot box.

I wish now I could Unsee that.

It’s almost an improvement… lol
The male NE model just isn’t good, compared to what we hoped they would be after WC 3.

Somehow I don’t believe you predicted this exact scenario.

Hey Linxy, any chance there could be a way to hide the visual of Enthropic Embrace for those who wish to RP a Silver Covenant High Elf? Maybe a BoP racial glyph from a vendor in the VE starting location?

Considering the major focus on player customization in this expansion and just how upfront that racial is visually, paired with less restrictive transmog changes like being able to hide everything but your pants, I think it would be a really pleasant treat to be able to do something about that very heavily void themed racial from an RP perspective.

Obviously they are still Void Elves at the end of the day though it would be nice for those who want to have that Silver Covenant/Quel’Dorei character to help imagine it as not a Void Elf.

Just my two cents.

This is kind of dumb. Why not just go ahead and make High Elves a neutral race like Pandaren? They both can now look pretty much identical besides hair styles and racials.
