Grats to those that wanted Blood/High Elves blue side.
Now can we get some of those void elf hair/beard options minus tentacles for the Horde? I’d love to get my hands on those wonderful hairstyle options.

So race identity and lore just go right in the garbage then, huh?
You missed the point completely. Too busy frothing at the mouth to comprehend my point.
Which was the race you decide to play should have no bearing on what quests you can do, what cities you can explore, and what players you can group with. The thing you quoted is a problem that literally would not exist if Blizzard didn’t think it was still “cool” to segregate it dwindling community. I also never said I agreed with high elves being on alliance. I just pointed out why there was a demand for it to begin with.
Personally I think it’s utterly insane that we’re going to give Alliance the most popular horde race and get nothing in return. This would not be an issue if faction divides didn’t exist, but they do exist. So I’ll be tailoring my complaints based on what is actually in the game.
This is just a sneak peek at some of the many customization options coming to your characters in Shadowlands! We look forward to seeing all of the creations that you come up with in the future.
Wow i don’t come to the forums for awhile and i just found out about this via:
Props Blizzard for doing this.
I am shocked…surprised…happy. Now all we need to do is merge Vareesa’s faction into the Void Elves in lore.
Thank you again for doing this Blizzard. I will be interested to see if we get the Blue eyes with the white sclera option. Looking forward to seeing all the options available…for BOTH my Blood Elves AND my Void Elves/High Elves.

Lol, what? Trolls are much higher than elves. It’s the elves who have their heads at the crotch level of a troll.
bequiet Emo Elf, if you don’t like the Void Elf backstory.
You can just RP role and proclaim you’re a high elf from the misty mountains.
A lot of people do that in real life too.
Secondly does this mean other allied races are on the table for further customisations?. But thank you regardless it’s good to see a blue post regardless.
We should campaign for Forest troll option.
Nightborne says hello. Nightborne were added to give the Horde, Night Elves.
Nightborne and night elves couldn’t be more different. If you think they’re the same in appearance you need to get your eyes checked.
Maybe now Nightborn can get the Night Elf options.
What a horrible decision over a handful of people crying about something.
They better. I want those dark drow skin tones for my warlock.
Now all we need to do is merge Vareesa’s faction into the Void Elves in lore.
And why ruin High Elves just to make the placebo more acceptable?
If Blizzard had used High Elves to become Void elves, the unease that was created with purple blood elves would not have happened.
And since High Elves are just a race of NPCs, I prefer them to stay as they are, and not be listed in that gloom.
I never said that Nightborne were the same in appearance. They have though an altered Night Elf skeleton from the old Night Elf models.
But that is the reason to why Nightborne where to given to the Horde, as to giving the Void Elves to the Alliance. To give each factions counterparts to the opposing factions. Don’t pretend the Horde got nothing from the Alliance when that is entirely false.
So race identity and lore just go right in the garbage then, huh?
Wrong start? Then it will end up wrong.
Game lore has always been trash. Tell me one situation that feels like a real “complicated” storyline, rather than the dramatic good guy vs depressed bad guy attitude.
And why ruin High Elves just to make the placebo more acceptable?
Well you are entitled to your opinion, but i think it would be fine to merge the Void Elves and the Silver Covenant. Although i would be perfectly ok if they still made High Elves as a core race for the Alliance.
Honestly i have been saying since Void Elves were created that it would make sense to merge Alleria’s with Vareesa’s (since the Silver Covenant has been around MUCH LONGER)…although i have always felt it should be the other way around since Vareesa seems to get lost in Alleria’s shadow and also she has been a staunch Alliance leader since she was introduced into the game and has only grown over time.
Even if the Silver Covenant joined the Alliance there would still be neutral High Elves and if i remember right still be High Elf NPC’s within the Blood Elves.
If Blizzard had used High Elves to become Void elves, the unease that was created with purple blood elves would not have happened.
I ABSOLUTELY agree with this. They should have gone with High Elves in the first place and especially so in the face of leaving Alleria a High Elf as the Void Elf leader. And i still hold out hope for High Elves to be added as a core race to the Alliance. However they DID choose this route and we are where we are so i am going to go with it and enjoy it.
We really don’t need High Elves with the new Void Elf customizations.
There is also no reason silver covenant members cant join Alleria and become Ren’dorei themselves.
Damn. I love the dark skin Blood Elf…and my priest will too !

Yes, i already said this in my original post. I am just replying to the individual who posted to me.
It’s up a bit further.
