Unfortunately they are sticking to their guns on covenants and aoe caps which is going to make all the other good they are doing pointless.
Actually I think that goes back to Metzen originally, however what I am saying is…you wanted pure Helves. Your getting Blue eyed Belves. thats why i laughed and said it was ironic. i have said all along, that velfs are high elves, at least as much as belfs, maybe less so, but you get the idea. if belfs evolved, so did velfs, twice in fact, the original fel evolution then the void evolution as well.

Their identity is to remember exactly what they are not for the alliance… Purple blood elves never had identity, because they were born to be a carbon copy of blood elves who lived on Silvermoon in collusion with orcs and trolls for years, and who left Silvermoon to research an energy that threatens Well of Eternity, without ever looking the alliance except when they needed someone big and strong to do the heavy lifting.
All the alliance gained with this placebo, with no lore, was a crack squad that never thought of the alliance at any time after leaving Silvermoon, until it was convenient.
Now they cannot even pretend that they are not exiled blood elves from Silvermoon. they will have to be blood elves who prefer the Alliance! LOL

i have a frost mage, heavy on the arcane, on classic, that has ran many a guildie thru low level content with arcane explosion. limiting it to 5 mobs, its not as bad as it sounds.
I don’t care about low level content I care about doing large pulls like the triple/quad in freehold the courtyard in wc into boss etc. That’s fun as heck.

First is YES!!! YES! YES! YES! YES! ALLIANCE FINALLY HAS ITS ICONIC IDENITY BACK FROM WARCRAFT 2 AND 3 INTO WOW AT LAST! YES HOLY SWEET BAGGINS IT IS OVER!

Firstly I just wanna thank you for posting in forums, we don’t get much from devs and I really appreciate it, truely I do.
Secondly does this mean other allied races are on the table for further customisations?. But thank you regardless it’s good to see a blue post regardless.
I’m sure a lot of people are happy now their one step closer to the nostalgia of high elves from WC RTS

No, because it is still Void Elves. Just a small group that was pulled out of nowhere, with no relevance or backstory to them.

Any chance that voidelves would also be able to become paladins now? I mean they can be priests and they let Lightforged Draenei be Deathknights.

It’s not just skin colors, it’s also blue eyes though. Also this is only a preview, there may very well be even more things to see tomorrow with the next build.
