I’m literally afraid to log into my Horde characters. Last thing I wanna see is furries everywhere.
Don´t blame Blizzard for a problem absolutely created by the players. Also, the game is more than the 1% dedicated to high end mythic raiding and +25 mythic+ dungeons.
To quote your worgen buddy, kindly stop the misinformation and start working on your content instead of hiding behind “buut, buut!!! No AlLiAnCe PlAyErS aNyWhErE!!”
The whole freaking pre-patch and BfA narrative say “Hi”. If the devs “listened exclusively to us”, we wouldn´t have ended with Anduin making speeches in Orgrimmar while his furry stalker and doormat (A.K.A. Baine) subtly worked as unofficial Warchief while being ridiculed in the exercise of his “job” (see: Vulpera scenario).
There are people like this, believe me. Maybe not vocal in the regular game but VERY vocal in RP circles and forums (I may not RP, but I do have friends dwelling on RP servers).
I´m not 100% sure, but Callistus is -i think- one of those finally happy to leave Horde (and frankly, I don´t see the problem with him leaving a faction he despised). Alurna was absolutely one of the most interested in ditching the Horde at last.
That is why I rolled Alliance. Because I can’t stand seeing them.
The 1% dedicated to +25 keys would be dis-proportionally Alliance given how the nelf racial is by far the most powerful m+ racial.
OMFG… so the QQ is not even justified?
Man, how the mighty have fallen.
There will absolutely always be some who would feel robbed, and want everything at the same time, but when it comes to which situation is better between 2 having different unique models on opposite factions, versus a near mirror look, I personally would always choose the first.
This is only doable of course, if Blizzard doesn’t screw the model up like they did Nightborne’s, but I’ve seen more examples where Blizzard is capable than not.
I want high elves with their own model. Some would still be dissatisfied, but perhaps not as many.
I have no problem if people weren’t happy playing Horde and leave, good for them. If any of them were actually rude to others over it all the better.
I don’t expect much of a change on the servers I play on, but not even sure how we’ll know anymore since none of us have access to the pop numbers.
Blizzard gave us one heck of a compromise that the vast majority on both sides should be happy with.
Most players play both faction (either by paranoia or because they genuinely don´t care so much over the lore and just like to get a change of scenery every little while).
I know some are VERY rude thanks to my naive self asking in SF why Belves brought such hateful answers from some Horde players. Man, apparently at the start a lot of a-holes rolled Horde on Belf toons…
Except here on the forums, there is 2 kinds of people:
- The “Not Happy” people, who are unhappy because of certain directions that things are turning
- The “No to you” people, who try and come up with anything to continue saying no to others.

I was literally considering giving up on the Alliance altogether until this announcement. Good think I don’t have to. I like playing both factions.
is that the problem of the high elves is neither of lore, nor of their numbers, nor of the antis, but blizzard does not want
now they are going to modify the void elfs before creating them directly
with that says it all, the truth surprises me the insistence of the pro helfs I would have already unscrewed long ago
I still think Blizz should do Half Elves with their own model. Let them be every class that humans can be. This why you aren’t taking away from BE and VE. You could still call them High Elves, just make it clear their blood line has been diluted with humans.

I’d love this. But with the short ear options coming, I’m doubtful it will happen.
The “No to you” people, who try and come up with anything to continue saying no to others.
Everyone gets told no at some point, I cannot understand the reasons you find this so offensive.

Most players are already happy with it or more surely, they probably don´t even care (nowadays people don´t give a F over the lore).
I´m one of the “worrywarts” (I don´t see any problem with sharing cosmetic stuff but I do care over keeping some aspects of the lore if only to prevent future negative impacts over my fav race A.K.A. the Belves).
And yes, some hate it and are VERY vocal about it, but they´ll get over it as long as this doesn´t bite us in the butt in the future (A.K.A. no Horde villain batting, pl0x).
I would want a few different ear length options and something like shaman or druid as well.
Honestly I think high elves with a different body type and lore indicating that they are moving more towards nature magic takes nothing from velves or belves.
unfortunately these customization options shoot that possibility down.
Us forum posters are a very small percentage of the player base. Most people happy with the game are playing it, not posting on the forums.
