What kind of support group?
This is a strawman.
Nope. I have no need to make statements unnecessarily. If it does not contribute to the discussion, I donāt make it.
Ask them. They are the ones who act like it is a fact, and not there own opinion.
The āWhy canāt people get that this is a clash of tastes in game preferencesā kind
YouĀ“re talking with someone that looks at the game in the most superficial basic way (lul, monsters vs. non-monstersā¦ i guess poor Worgen and both Draenei races ādonĀ“t existā).
Stop wasting your time, cause someone following such premise will obviously limit his/her own vision of the game under those parameters (and I suppose that, having both monsters and non monsters in appearence in BOTH factions translates to BOTH factions being the freaking same for him/her) and in consequence, will never see the issue.
DonĀ“t worry dear, IĀ“d never roll Alliance even if my life depended on itā¦ too much Human potential for my tastes. And IĀ“m quite sure thereĀ“s people with the same mentality in the blue side of the fence (theyĀ“ll never roll Horde), so this hypothetical apocalyptical scenario is quite unprobable.
You mean Blizzard? Cause they -quite correctly- said factions are kinda inherent and a core aspect of the game.
Like any responsible adult does with a bunch of stuff in life? I may want to buy a US dressand donĀ“t have enough money, but the solution certainly isnĀ“t the story selling it to me for half the price but me saving to buy it.
That would make one crazy acronym!
Another support group could be āWhy canāt people disagree without making personal attacksā.
Please tell that to the excessively aggressive werewolf with a jaunty hat.
oh thank god, does that mean the blood elves player base will finally go back to the alliance!
Yes, Factions. Horde vs Alliance.
Blood Elf player base has become solidly Horde from what I can tell.
Honestly, if High Elves, or void elves with fair skins, were designed using a different and unique model (similar to the way Nightborne was done, but actually good), I believe there wouldāve been very few people against it.
This āantiā label, is not necessarily anti what people want to play (I can speak for myself at least), but rather anti the aesthetically cloning of other, core races across factions.
cause the lore has been fcked up since Cata
This, I can agree on. I miss the golden days where lore actually meant something.
Dear, as long as Afriasiabi and Goilden stay in charge, we will repeat the MoP to Legion cycle ad nauseaumā¦ while keeping factions apart too btw.
That is the thing. Factions, they are starting to become more āone-sidedā. Because Ion keeps on saying, you want this, roll Horde.
Is there going to be any factions when nearly everyone starts chosing to roll just on the one faction?
I am not saying giving the Alliance these customisations for Void Elves or giving them High Elves will help the Alliance in any way, but instead of denying the Alliance stuff while only mostly listening to the Horde playerbase, could actually make it more fair for anyone of any faction, whether weāre a Horde player, or an Alliance player.

People have suggested this before, but there are some who would feel robbed of a body type. If High Elves can have it, lorewise Blood Elves could too.
It would be like if Kul Tirans went Horde (model wise, not lore wise). It would upset some people.
I donāt know who these people are though. I donāt play on rp-ing servers. My main server used to be pvp, it still kind of feels that way. People love the Horde and as a Blood Elf Iāve never run into anyone saying weāre not really Horde or they wish they could play on the Alliance.
Maybe I just donāt get around much. lol
It would be like if Kul Tirans went Horde (model wise, not lore wise). It would upset some people.
But lore wise, we have High Elves within the Alliance. How is this upsetting people when it is supported in the game and lore that High Elves and Blood Elves are recognized as 2 major different groups of each factions?
I mean, I would be happy if they used the models suggested for High Elves if they gave those to the Void Elves, but some people seem to still be even against that.
I would think after getting Vulpera, Blood Elves would be the least of your problems on Horde.
But lore wise, we have High Elves within the Alliance.
Lore wise we have Hozen in the Horde. They arenāt playable. I recognize the situation isnāt exactly the same, but itās still the fact that just because itās there doesnāt mean we get to play as it. We can ask to play as it, but we shouldnāt demonize those who are against the idea.
I think Vulpera on the Horde is a good thing. They are the new Footballs, which means we can stop punning the gnomes.
Because Ion keeps on saying, you want this, roll Horde.
Keeps on saying?
all the non-playable races in wow, they are not playable because blizzard has wanted it, if blizzard wants the helfs to be playable it would have done it long ago
I think this is the closest you will get
