That’s all that matters. Anything extra you write is just you trying to insult the race and is irrelevant to their popularity.
So Blood Elves aren’t getting new options? Blizzard isn’t historically lazy and takes the easy way out whenever possible?
Wow, of course it matters. Because unsatisfied customers do not stick around. Blizzard is going the opposite direction now, it’s obvious that despite their supposed success it was a flawed implementation.
No, it doesn’t matter. They are popular. That’s all there is to it, Alamara.
So the truth?
Thanks for clarifying.
You can ignore being as close to the High Elf aesthetic as could be didn’t actively carry the Void Elf popularity on its back along with the Blood Elf skeleton.
Your opinion is subjective and not the truth. Sorry.
No, it’s not all there is to it.
But it’s pointless to argue beyond this point.
Yes, that’s all there is to it. Blizzard sees they are popular and that’s it.
If that was it, then it wouldn’t be turning 180 degrees and going the opposite direction now. They’d go forward with the original concept.
The 0 development that contributes exactly 0 to the Void Elf race is not an opinion my guy, it is fact.
It’s a expansion with customation as a feature, what do you expect to happen, Alamara?
This has nothing to do with anything, my guy.
“This product is so successful, so successful, that we are rethinking it and making it farther than the original concept.”
No company, ever.
“We are promoting customisations as a feature for our upcoming expansion. Let’s go nuts!”
Or are you forgetting about the magical Darkspear Trolls suddenly becoming Sand Trolls thing?
I just want some high elf hair color and hairstyles for the void elves, so that I can finally play as Legolas.
What I’m curious about is… what does becoming Ren’dorei do to that magical addiction, if anything. It seems like becoming a Void Elf severs the connection a Thalassian has to the Sunwell.
Assuming that is indeed true, what other effects might the void have upon them? Does it sate their need for magic? Does it just outright remove it? If it doesn’t remove or sate it, does that mean the Ren’dorei must also draw magic from items or perhaps create a “void well”?
And if the void does remove or sate the magical addiction… would that be incentive for High Elves to join them? It does leave me with many questions.
At least you’re honest about what you want.
If they give us the lore to explicitly say High Elf wayfarers are becoming new VE recruits, then we will have the lore too, that’s what is so important to me that I have seen so many good arguments from pro HE supporters want is the lore of the High Elf that never left the Alliance.
It does not mean that execution would be bad if all they do is release customisations with no further explanations.
While they can certainly handwave and say that the Trolls and Dwarves are closely related that they can essentially have the same racials, they should at least make a point to state that a group of other Troll Tribes and the Wildhammer dwarves joined the Darkspear and Bronzebeards.
You down for fellowship of the ring? Aragorn (Human), Gimli (Dwarf) and Logolas (Void elf with High Elf appearance), we have hobbits (Gnomes), Blackrock mountain is Mordor Mount Doom, Sauruman tower is Medivh Tower.
Personally I think WoW is nearing the end and that they need to go nuts on stuff and open the floodgates more on allowing players to RP whatever they want.
I’m all about getting High with Elves.
