For all we know, some of those High Elves in Legion have since converted to the Void.
My point is still valid though. The Silver Covenant has been MIA since 7.1. Meanwhile the Void Elves have been active since 8.0. Sorry, but High Elves have been replaced with Void Elves for the story.
One of the most popular allied races by far was a terrible idea?
I donât have a problem with SOME High Elf void users but it should have never been the theme of the entire race. Itâs too niche a theme to encompass an entire race imo. They should have been a subgroup of the overall High Elf player race. Most races ingame have subgroups and thereâs no reason High Elves couldnât either.
Are they popular because theyâre Void Elves or are they popular because theyâre currently the closest thing an Alliance player has to High Elves?
I wouldnât be surprised if Blizzard searched their database and found out that a large majority of players cling to the reddest void elf skins and no-tendril hairstyles.
I always said I would be ok with normal skins as long as Entropic Embrace was kept. I wasnât demanding they be made available, but I was open to the idea.
Itâs laughable how youâve always stuck to this idea that because Void Elves are played pretty often on the Alliance that theyâre a popular addition in general.
Theyâre a popular addition because of their skeleton and for the simple fact that theyâre the ham-fisted, High Elf substitute.
Plain and simple, they literally have 0 other qualities that could be defended that make them popular other than their Void Niche and their Thalassian model.
Theyâve discovered the one weird fact that Blizzard doesnât want us to know. They know whatâs really going on, and thatâs that the thing that was a good chunk of what they wanted but not completely MUST be hated by the players at large because they dodnât like them!
