New Customization Options for Blood Elves and Void Elves

I’m upset because I don’t have Blonde Hair.

I just want to be just like Blondie.

I was also hoping to see small little quests that would explain our new customization! That would be so cool!

Alamara, it was stated why they didnt do high elves in Legion.
“Too similar to blood elves” per Ion.

Hmmm, I am just hoping that Blizzard is giving the Void Elves these options to allow us to play as either an Alliance High Elf or a Void Elf, without having to implement a new AR.

I knoow!! I’m just so hyped honestly! I really liked that little “High Elf” or “Void Elf” tab thing you posted! It was so clever!

A lot of this is just a character standing in the background or requires you to go on an Easter egg hunt. The main appearance was even alongside Blood Elves.

It’s stringing together crumbs and calling it a meal.

As I comment I think that the ranks of the void elfs are increasing with the elves that are studying and that they can be as allergy, I think that it is the simplest and does not need any quest or anything

and if they give them normal hair, if they gave them the skins it is nonsense that they do not have normal hairs

That would be the most ideal

And void elves didn’t have even that. So what?

High elves didn’t need any big presentation, they were already known and requested for years. They were there in the old games, Vanilla, TBC, WotLK, Cataclysm, MoP… Only WoD lacked their presence in any meaningful way. They just didn’t need a lot of screen time.

And yet there they were, doing stuff all over the place.

All other allied races, even lightforged draenei were seeded beforehand. Lightforged draenei were hinted way back in 7.0, when we saw a Lightforged Nathrezim, and in the end of Priest/Paladin campaign has him arriving with a troop of Army of the Light draenei (covered head to toe) to save the day.

If not high elves, what other allied race was being seeded before the magic idea of void elves sprung into existance in near 7.3 development’s end?

Or are you telling me that Blizzard seeded the other three and totally didn’t think of any 4th possibility until Legion was almost over?

I insist more than introducing high elves, they are expanding voids elfs, to see if we finally have a stream soon and they pronounce

They had the entirety of BfA for that and failed to do so.

Well, I think it is their formula, but as I repeated earlier, we need blizzard to add more information about it, the rest is to argue nonsense as they have been here all day

One thing at least they enjoy whether they are high elves or not, they can at least have a better role play

I don’t think they can salvage Void Elves much on their own. Their background is so weak and they are like BC Blood Elves on steroids - the whole practicing dangerous magic is entirely against what the High Elves stand for. It would be bizarre the 2 group can reconcile on that point alone.

Lore-wise, High Elves have far more links to the Alliance than a crack squad reject.

OMG, lol!
Ion can’t find PvP Vendor nor high elf hubs.

That’s the thing, it’s not their formula. Void elves are a bizarre exception. They are the only playable race without a proper introduction, and then we had them for two and a half years without them being fleshed out even in the most basic details.

It does not seem like they were thought of beforehand, nor that they were introduced with a purpose in mind. It was “let’s fill up a slot, we think about it later”.

the thing is that they left many npc of high elves and blood elves on the matter, if alleria can I do not think that the other high elves are very opposed

Yes, if several high elves join the void elfs, the silver convenant issue is there and I do not think they will make veressa void elfs

I cannot reconcile that High Elves would separate with Blood Elves because of their use of dangerous magic (i.e. Fel) and then be suddenly ok with Void.

They were suffering the pangs of magic addiction and did not succumb to the “easy” way out to ease their addiction and suddenly when the addiction are gone, they are cool with darker magic. The High Elves Wayfarers do not make sense - and I can only assume this would be the minority

The only way a significant number of High Elves can become Void Elves is if they were turned unwillingly.

As you are saying it yourself you are assuming it and saying that they are minority without any fact

Blizzard is the owner of the game and the lore and if he says that there are many who join?

which I repeat, we have to wait for the stream and see if they answer something about this

even so I will repeat it again beyond that they are high elves or not, they will have a better role play at least they will have the skin

Of course Blizzard can suddenly decide to say High Elves are cool with the void since they “own the game”.

It would just also mean they make themselves look silly and inconsistent.

Part of the attraction of the High Elves is their stoicism in managing their Mana Addiction in line with their principles. Destroying that only means the new Void Elves aren’t the characters High Elves players want to be since it is a core of what makes the High Elves different from the Blood Elves in the first place.

ok now you’re talking about wishes what would you like

which is something else, for which I refer you must wait for additional information

Many of us believe that void may be the differentiating gene that high elves need to be something contrary to blood elfs, but we come back to the same thing, that’s my opinion

It only remains to see what is the official version of blizzard, and hopefully that stream will not take long
