I doubt it.
I think with the obvious hinting at a future void/light story line void elves might get to play a fun part in the story.
While people think blizzard just made them for no reason I think they have plans for them.

Imagine if Blood Elves were that way also.
Here’s a compilation of suggestions for Blood/Void/High Elves.
Void Elf improvements.
General Concepts/Additions-
-Some lore stating that High Elves and Void Elves are merging in some way. Either by having Alleria’s troops follow her path or having the Void Elves join the Silver Covenant.
-Alleria like Tattoos/Warpaint.
-White/Blond/Brown Hair Colors.
-Short Ear options so people can play Half Elves on Alliance
Possible Additions/Alterations/Options-
-The High Elf skins that are currently unavailable to players.
-Either the option to hide/change Entropic Embrace or making it less obnoxious.
-Night Warrior type quest to allow more High Elf themed options or a more Ranger Like armor set like Alleria’s.
-Paladins. (Unlikely but it would be nice)
Blood Elf improvements.
General Concepts/Additions-
-More large pieces of Jewelry for both genders. Including Ankle/Arm Bands.
-Glowing Blue/Red/Green Rune Tattoos like Rommath that match Eye Colors. Maybe some black ones.
-Red/Black Felblood Skins.
-Wizard Beards!
Possible Additions/Alterations/Options-
-Night Warrior type quest to allow for San’layn and/or Dark Ranger customization options.
-Blood Mage and Spellbreaker Armor Sets with Spell Breaker Weapons.
These sound like good options?

Funny that all of the things he requested involve removing the void themes from Void elves, and corrupting the Blood elves with undead themes. Two entirely polar opposite concepts from their central themes, and narratives. But I guess I shouldn’t expect much from the guy who kept telling me how blue eyes would never come to blood elves.

And with fel themes, which aside from having green eyes I wasn’t aware was a Blood Elf theme. The fel elves during TBC were their own thing and weren’t absorbed into the Blood Elves, if any survived. Even the use of fel and light weren’t at the time about Blood Elves being physically corrupted, but subverting those forces and controlling them.

No. They are void elves. This is trying to remove everything voidy about them. Even Alleria keeps her void mode on for combat. SO lets not do that to them.

Id say no to this one because that requires them ingesting tons of fel and going back on everything they believed in. Lets…not do that please?

Actually the surviving Sunfury rejoined the Blood Elves sometime after BC but before Wrath. The Felblood where part of their ranks. It would basically be playing one of those.
It would be a simple addition since it’s already an NPC option that would require few tweeks.
I also imagine it would extend to Demon Hunters.

Fel Infused Elf (DH)
Regular Elf (Most classes, up to personal preference)
Undead Elf (DK’s)
Void Elf Themes:
Void Saturated (Most VE’s)
Undead Elf (DK’s)
“Regular” Elf (How “regular” are they? We don’t know, maybe they are “low-void elves” and it’s literally just an spectrum of Voidness, but they are still void elves even if aesthetics vary.)
It’s a fact that VE’s have now wider aesthetic options not restricted to class, but overall, with BE DK exclusive sikins and DH skins, BE’s literally have more aesthetic options than VE’s.
So, Blood Elves have literally more themes than VE’s, and functionally more aesthetics -albeit class restricted-

The sunfury do not have any felblood in their ranks. All of the felblood elves were those following kael’thas and we exterminated them.
Let alone Demon hunters fill in the whole “I took a bunch of fel and now im a demon with horns” kindof thing. So its also a little redundant

I wouldn’t even consider class restrictions to be honest because demon hunter isn’t exclusive to blood elves in their thema and neither are DK’s.
If we’re going to evaluate them we should do so purely on what they bring at their base and not what they are sharing.
In which case, void elves rock
Void/high elf
And blood elves rock
high elf.
That is just trying to manipulate outside factors and claim them as unique when they aren’t and are already being shared.
