I don’t have a problem with that. Giving the Silver Covenant and all the other alliance high elves as we’ve known them purple eyes is totally fine with me.
The best part is, they still remain as they’ve always been, a group loyal to the Alliance.
Now void elves will be able to have white, blue or violet eyes.
It’s the ideal solution.

I’m fine with most if not all the High Elf NPCs having the purple eyes. Maybe being away from Quel’Thalas for so long has caused them to have some minor evolution/adaptation to their new environments in Stormwind and Dalaran?

You know, some of those skins deserve red eyes as an option.
Blizzard, give blood elves red eyes. Even if it’s not the exact same as the fully red dark ranger eyes. Give them red with pupils! And fiery orange! Throw a bone to the blood elves, a high elf fan asks you to!
(And then give void elves those same purple eyes with pupils that high elf NPCs are using while you are at it).

Shame we didn’t get to see the new Velf skin tones in that yet. But it’s interesting that even the Void Elf blue eyes look quite a bit different than the Blood Elf blues. I like it.

I’m convinced High elf is basically the Number 3 for them like how Valve can’t accept the number 3 so they did something else without actually making it so.

Void elf eye colors:
This one is my favorite, but I think the purple one (not available for females in Alpha, probably a bug) will look even better.

Someone pointed out that the female void elf purple eyes ARE in the alpha, but as a Death Knight option, obviously a bug. And, just like I expected, they are BEAUTIFUL!

They stealth hot-fixed the ears option for blood elves. It was missing earlier and changing randomly as we selected other options. Now we can select it in character creation. Cool.
Female necklaces and jewelry are still bugged.

Shadowlands is adding things I said void elves should have since the beginning: normal skins, purple eyes… Now hoping we get tattoos as well!
