New classes for the Midnight Expansion

I hope that Blizzard have chosen more than one class going into the next expansion.
Tinker, Witch ( Necromancer ), Bard, Warden, Spellbreaker, and etc…I hope Blizzard choses all of them. This will definitely bring back WoW that everyone enjoys.

The Midnight expansion is going to be awesome, especially with these new classes.

I hope there’s not a new class. I think the last two were a swing and a miss.

The Tinker class is long, long overdue. I really hope they add it in soon, Midnight ideally.

I get the desire for wanting a certain class, but tinkers do not fit the theme of midnight at all

I just want a normal new class. We haven’t had one since MoP which was 12 years ago. No more race locked gimmick classes please.

Season two is aptly named Undermined because we are visiting the Goblin capital, Undermine, which is home to many Tinkers.

Given that Undermine and Goblins seem to have a role in this trilogy’s story, I think your comment is unfounded. You cannot possibly know what does or doesn’t fit in Midnight’s story. We’re not there yet.

Of course it is.

Tinker is a rank of profession.

You should read more about Tinkers in Warcraft. Really cool stuff. You’ll learn a lot too which will enable you to type informed replies in the future.

How? Sounds like a balancing nightmare.

Def was a fun hero in WCIII. If the folks that work on class development put they heads together, it could be a great class in WoW too

I hope we finally get the Allied Race counterparts for Forsaken and Worgen. I would like it to be the original Night Elf Worgens still banished in the dream, we got the cure its about time we freed the rest of them!

If they’ve only ever added one class in a single expansion and have added four new classes total in two decades, then they’re not going to add more than one in a single expansion, let alone FIVE.

I was looking forward to Midnight potentially adding riftblade or spellbreaker as the next class, but now it’s all talk about that dubious survey and how tinkers can be introduced halfway into TWW S2, or how they can hijack the plot of an expansion that’s focused on elven lore and the Void. Now, I’m not sure if I want another class at all.

Just give me a Dark Paladin spec (or make DK play like Paladin). Artificer with Gunner, Alchemist, and Tinkerer subclasses could be cool.

The funny thing is the dubious survey even mentions both Battlemage and Spellbreaker as potential classes, but people are ignoring that because it mentioned Tinker.

And yeah, the absence of a Riftblade or other void class is a pretty big red flag the survey is fake. They would at least be considering a void class for the void themed expansion saga.

Honestly they may just go this path, maybe introduce pistols artificers can use so Gunner is more than just the rifle we’ve had already. They might change the alchemist part to something else to not conflict with the profession but I could see them doing the broad idea of Artificer over just a tinker class. Now if that would upset people who’s to say…the class they’ve been demanding rendered a spec for a class that does all their stuff and more. Idk…Artificer also sounds cooler than tinker. Would be nice seeing Void paladins as well as a playable class…idk what they’d be called though. Just no more classes that are limited to certain races is all I ask at this point

I hope it’s none, Blizzard can’t keep up with all the class balancing they have now.

I just want it to be a traditional fantasy class

Not some weird stuff they’re thinking about like Titanlancer or whatever
Evoker hit the weird mark too

It’s highly unlikely there will be any new Classes for the Midnight Expansion, due to player housing.

For The Last Titan though, I’m hoping for Tinker, but expecting some kind of Bard Class.

“In Midnight, players will return to Quel’Thalas, where the forces of the Void have invaded Azeroth, intent on claiming the Sunwell and plunging the world into darkness and fear. Players will help reunify the scattered elven tribes of Azeroth and ultimately fight alongside the forces of the Light to banish the Shadow forever.”

Yeah, nah. I’m pretty sure that tinkers wouldnt be in an elf expansion
