We know it won’t be necro but heres wishful thinking.

ETC.
Naga Siren.
Siren (race in BFA)
Bards in rogue order halls, surumar, dalaran, etc.

Noise based fights in Cataclysm (sound magic/damage)
Lady Lala (Rare)

knowing blizzard it wont be anything fun like that it will be something of what we already have,

as much as id like a bard i can bet since they are calling for a tinker thats what it will be which i wont play.

Some kind of dragon-related hero class IMO with tank, healer, and maybe ranged dps specs.

Being a class that needs it I agree. I do not understand how they can just leave things this unbalanced for this long as think we are all okay with it.

So tired of having to change my main because the spec isn’t performing well enough.

if they havent balanced the classes within 15 years they wont id rather have a new fun class.

Wait
Who’s the confused one? And I guess the other is BM?

Not going to argue that but then they could always go a step further and ban all add-ons that track performance. So no more meters could go a long way to letting people just play to have fun but on the other hand never know if they are doing something wrong.

I could see them doing something more along the line of a new class hall where they give more choice to class customization.

Imagine the artifact systems and the upcoming heart changes. The UI resembles that of the sphere grid from FFX. Now take this current iteration and blow it up to the size of path of exile class creation.

This could serve as a new talent system or mastery system if you choose. You then can customize your class to how you want to play and gain almost endless investment to unlock stats and new abilities.

Furthered, the class halls are lost orders or new orders who have been fighting against our new rival/foe and teach us a new spec for each class.

Makes classes deep and customizable again and introduces new specs to mess with. The only class that may lose out is druid but in its place they could learn or unlock new forms for their current specs IE new dire bear, wolf for cat, star child for moonkin and new base tree/life binder form for resto.

Adding another whole new class could be too much.

Warrior - gladiator returns

Shaman - tank or buff spec based on Earth

Hunter - dark ranger spec mimicking old survival

Mage - chronimancer time based healing

Warlock - meta tank spec

Paladin - ranged buff spec

DK - necromancer spec based more on minion control. Could just rework unholy spreading prestilence and remove sores please

DH not sure

Rogue mid range dual pistols spec. Gunslinger

Monk - melee healing buff spec. Fistweaving in crack. Think monk spec from vanguard saga of heroes

Priest
not sure. You could go full on melee cleric but that’s just holy paladin

Just an idea.

More so focused on the idea of a giant sphere grid to unlock new abilities and enhancements to abilities. Also gives a chance to focus a class in a certain direction with added crit, cast times enhance, etc

Oh boy, another recolor of a builder-spender system with 4 core buttons and a couple CD’s. So exciting.

I think the best class design has always come in expansions where they introduced a new class, so the argument that they should just focus on fixing current classes doesn’t hold up very well.

FFXIV has a “don’t tell” policy that has been pretty successful. You can parse, but you can’t mention that you do in-game.

It keeps the casual stuff light-hearted, and the guilds are allowed to parse to their pleasure.

Marksmanship who can’t decide if it wants to be a powerful sniper or a drunk redneck with an Uzi.

The other is Beast Mastery, yes. That went from having a large, varied, and powerful ranged toolkit with a singular heavy hitting pet based nuke to nearly all pet damage via player “buffing” and token shots that look bland, feel bland, and only add up to good damage via thousands of applications.

Hahahaha awesome and so true!

And that is why I play Survival they most fun of three specs by far IMHO. MM doesn’t have pet so I couldn’t care less and BM is just wrong
 boring

If they do it has to be Tinker. They’ve been setting up massive Gnome and Goblin lore and all the technological advancements with Azerite.

Gunslinger should be a fourth Rogue spec. Bards need some kind of precedent which they don’t have.

We’ve had walkie talkies, telepathy, machine guns, mortars, rocket launchers, grenades, bombs, flamethrowers, internal combustion engines, teleportation etc going way back through WoLK and before. And not just limited to goblins and gnomes.

Legion Alleria and then the BFA cinematic teased 2 different types of magic enhanced archery. Something that was playable in the game for several expansions and then got deleted.

So what is your suggestion? A new magic themed Hunter spec? Which magic?

Are you a psychic?
